My Girls

  Ch. Klompen's Call Me Snowbird

June 4, 1989 - August 18, 2004

"Crystal" was my first Keeshond that I had purchased from Kathy and Bruce Stewart in Alberta.  Crystal was such a sweet girl and she learned easily and had that willingness to please attitude.   She settled very quickly in the house and was happy to be around you right until her last day.  Crystal was my foundation bitch and will be dearly missed by KoAnne Keeshonden.  I can only hope to have another like her some day, produced by one of her offspring.  Rest in Peace my friend, until we meet again.

"TJ"

Ch. KoAnne's True Justice - "TJ"

January 19, 1994 - May 1, 2004

"TJ" was my first homebred Champion and she was so full of life all the time.  She was one of those Kees that never grew old in attitude and personality.  She was very willing to please and succeeded easily at whatever was asked of her.  She will be missed dearly by KoAnne Keeshonden

"Bailey"

Ch. KoAnne's Post No Bail, Am/Can. CD

June 25, 1996 - July 25, 2008

"Bailey" is that ideal role model for the breed.  She is ever so gentle with everyone she meets.  She does not bark much and she learns very easily.  A friend of mine trained Bailey for her CD title and did a marvelous job.  I showed her in both the Canadian and American Obedience Rings.  Bailey was not a dog that did well away from home.  She didn't want to eat when she was away so it was a real task to try and find something that she was willing to eat.

Bailey was diagnosed with a tumor in her chest on July 18th, 2008.  I said that I would keep her comfortable for the time being.  She quit eating on me and was not happy anymore.  The puppies were jumping over her and licking her face and she never told them to back off so I knew that it was time to let her go.  She is deeply missed by all those that she touched in some way, shape or form.  She was one special dog to everyone she met.  There will not be another Bailey out there.

Rest in peace sweet one, until we meet again.

"Bobbi"

 Ch. KoAnne's True Blue

February 12, 2001 -

"Bobbi" has such a zest for life.  She is a "on-the-go" type of dog.  She has so much energy and loves to be with you.   Bobbi now resides with Thelma Smith in a home all to her own.  She gets all the attention from Thelma and doesn't have to fight for it.  She is enjoying life very much.

"Bobbi" does not like having her picture taken very well so this picture of her was a challenge to get.

"Echo"

 KoAnne's Life Is An Echo

April 16, 2004 -

"Echo" was an energetic puppy and loved to investigate everything she encountered.   I named Echo to mean that whatever you put into life you will get out of life.  I think she was named appropriately as she is putting everything she has into life.  She is a very smart dog and needs mental stimulation to keep her happy.  She learns very quickly and is willing to please.

"Genny"

Ch. KoAnne's Hidden Agenda

March 29, 2002 -

"Genny" is a very sweet dog and takes life one day at a time.  She is easy to live.  She likes to lay under your chair while you are on the computer and sleep on the bed at night to keep your feet warm.  She has trained a little bit for agility.  We will be doing more with her in the new year in the sports department and obedience.

"MOJO"

BPIS Ch. KoAnne's Wrapped In Blue

October 29, 2005 -

"Mojo" has done very well in the conformation ring, just like her brother Colt.  At 9 months of age she received the awards of Winners Female at the Keeshond National Specialty, a Group 2 placement, Best Puppy in Group win and a Best Puppy in Show win.  She is a girl that has that cock in her head and that sparkle in her eye.  She will be shown on the US side of the border as time permits in 2009.

"RAYE"

KoAnne's One Desire

March 2, 2008

Raye is not afraid of anything.  She doesn't take any crap from the adults either.  She is usually beating up her mother Mojo or at the very least telling off her mother.  She is going to be fun to show when she is old enough.  Watch for her in the ring.  She is very sound and has a great tailset.  She could use a bit better colour but we will work on that this sumer.
