Knuzden v Osw St Marys

As this was always going to be a hard game as Osw are very good side the game kicked off the teams looked fairly matched Osw scored first after we had hit the bar post and the keeper, who said bigger nets where easy to score in by the half we were two down. with having just nine and no subs probley was are down fall. Osw came out all guns blazing in the second half and put another 4 past are new keeper. We will look back at this game and take the poative from it. Knuzden did score but this proved to be a consolation.

Pendle Forest V Knuzden

New league new team: The game kicked off both teams playing attacking football but Pendle scored first, with Leon Hanson pulling it level in a matter of minutes with a 15 yrd dropping shot great goal, by the half knuzden going in 4 2 thanks to Sam Smalley bagging his first hat trick. Second half pendle came out fighting trying to latch on to every loose ball,  the back three left under pressure at times due to the mid field strolling back to cover when pendle attacked the back line. Adam Wallis as been fantastic since he won the captians arm band. Bradley Reece netted his first as did Gianluca Gibson. Lewis was unlucky on another day had should have scored. A well earned three points in a close game.

Darwen fc v Knuzden

With key players missing from the team this game was a nightmare straight from the kick off playing the ball back towards are own goal giving away a free kick on the edge off the area 1 nil to Dfc every time we pulled a goal back we let dfc just walk right through us, midfield and defence not at all working together heads were down no one in the side trying to motivate the team. The ref playing 40 mins first 1/2 missing a lot free kicks for knuzden but giving everthing to dfc. WE WERE`NT AT THE RACES TODAY.

Knuzden set the pace straight from kick off hitting the bar in the frist seconds of the whistle being blown Eagels did shown a good fitting spirit with some great goals, Eagels manager comment after the game we were out classed today. Should have been 17 as ref failed to see one cross the line.

This was a great game both teams playing well, knuzden got on the score sheet 1st and held Osw for the frist half 2nd half Osw went 3-1 knuzden got back in the game pulling the score level but in the last kick off the game off a Osw corner we failed to clear their player blasted the ball and little tommo into the back of the net. Osw manager comments where that was the best game all season so far.

Knuzden V Pendle Forest

The pitch was not in the best of conditions grass far too long and muddy puddles everywhere,

But that did`nt stop Knuzden win the game, both teams played well Knuzden opened the scoring, going in 3 nil up at 1/2 time we looked the better side this game was over but Pendle did work hard to try and pull it back. Knuzden had a goal feast in the 2nd 1/2 by bagging 5. Change of keeper for 2nd 1/2 as Micheal made some great saves in the first 1/2 to keep a clean sheet and with having two keepers we agreed to giving them 1/2 hour each up steps Patrick he also did well two of the goals he had no chance, Pendle in at the back for the first but like i said the other two where great goals.

Peter Taylor do i not like orange well i dont like purple with azko and beech merge creating a strong side, also some good players. we did are best but it was`nt our day as any team are beatable on the day,

Silly goals gifted by lack lust defending key defeners missing, early goals conceded a bit of a repeat from last week. Only this time we put 4 past Beech could have been more as the chances we created wood we hit some great saves from Harry the keeper, goal of the day Lewis 5yrds from the half way line struck the ball with pin piont accuracy the wind behind the ball kepper got two hands behind the ball but could`nt keep the ball out.

The team started to complacent thinking the game was in the bag before kick but its a funny old game, Trawden 2 up before knuzden got started and when we did its was one way traffic don`t get me wrong but trawden have got a good side and showed true comittment for their team. Gianluca Gibson trying at every chance but was`nt to be it will come ganny keep plugging away.Hat trick hero Tom was fantastic today well played.

Knuzden break down the right wing Lewis`s pre match talk payed off great little run twisting turning cut inside shot great goal 1 nil lewis went on to grab two more to claim his first hat trick, Lewis swung the ball in from a corner Gianluca rose to head home he went on to score again, we said it would come if you keep working hard well done, Well lets not forget Tom Jaconelli Hat trick as well he as been a marvel over the last few weeks. Calum Hill given a chance to play left wing he also got on the score sheet Jack T hit the post put one in with is hand had a couple of chances but not today Jack. passing the ball works

Akzo V Knuzden (9.45 Blacksnape)

May be the kick off time was to early!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being 5-1 down at half time against 8 men Akzo looked on course for the win, Leon Hanson pulled one back through a well place free kick. Knuzden heads were down at the half time, team talk was just what we needed as knuzden came out all guns blazing. Knuzden pulled it back to 5-2 through a fine strike from lewis free kick in off Leon Hanson, Knuzden win a corner, ball swung in from Lewis the ball pinging around in the area fell to Jack Tiffin 5-3 game on: After knuzden got their 3rd  the flood gates opened. Lewis scored his 2nd with a fine lob, Tom Jaconnelli got two more making that 12 for the season Gianluca again on the score sheet. Corner Downey also bagged his first of the season with powerfull strike. Saul Hartley made his trough a run down the left cut inside shot goal.

Ganny 2nd was a peach on the volly great strike. Lewis got on the score sheet again taking his total to 16.
