I have come across a wonderful organization that I wanted to share called The Toy Society. The Toy Society is an organization of people who create handmade toys (plushies) to brighten up the day of a stranger.
Basically what you do is create a handmade toy, print out and attach instructions and tags that are provided by The Toy Society. Place your toy in a ziplock bag and leave it somewhere to be found by an unexpecting stranger.
The Toy Society has a flickr account set up when you can post the picture of your toy waiting for its new owner. When your toy is found, the tag instructs the new owner to e-mail the toy society who will then post a Found message on their clog so you can see your toy in its happy new home.
