About Us
Welcome to the Camarilla Venue LARP (Live Action Role Play) site for Knoxcam of Knoxville TN.

In September 2001 a group of friends got together and created the Knoxville chapter of the sacntioned worldwide chronicle for White Wolfs World of Darkness.  The social interaction began and we took our first steps on our journey into one of the largest Live Action Role Playing games!  We branched out and had visitors from other cities that came to play and we meet all sorts of differentpeople and characters. The social interaction that comes with LARP is unbelievable and it opend up new experiences that tabletop never could have.  The World of Darkness came alive in our Mind's Eye.

We've changed and grown abit since those first days only playing Vampire the Masquerade in Llive Action with the Sanctioned Chronicle.  We've since had Mage: The Ascension, Changeling: The Dreaming, Hunter: The Reckoning, and Werewolf: The Apocalypse as sanctioned games in Knoxville's Chronicleall branching out and expandingjust like Vampire did with meeting more people and characters as we went.

Now we move into a new era with the launch of the New World of Darkness including Vampire: The Requeim, Werewolf: The Forsaken, and Mage: The Awakening.  We still have Changling: The Dreaming and remember the good times that we had with the end of the Old World of Darkness games.  Join us as we take the first steps into the New World of Darkness.

About the Organization

The organization of Knoxville and the Global Chronicle's Domains/Chapters is very simple. It is a democracy. The storytellers and coordinators of the Domain are decided and voted upon by the members of the group. If you feel that you are being treated unfairly, you are given a voice with which to make yourself heard. These Coordinators and Storytellers are charged with arranging sites to play and also with telling stories in the games that make for Drama and Role-playing. As a reward for their services they are given prestige points, which is a system that allows a player to gain access to more and more powerful characters as they go along. Other members of the group are encouraged to assist by playing NPC's or by making donations to the group or to local charities and in turn granting themselves prestige points as well.
All characters and concepts require a level of approval due to the fact that you're not just playing a game with your local friends, you're playing with the entire world and there are only so many Salubri in the world. Your approval levels are from your local ST, to your Domain, ST, all the way up to the Master, Global Storyteller.

To find out more, please feel free to contact any member you see on the boards or contact the Coordinator, or Storytellers that are listed elsewhere on this site.
