A NEW YORK LIFE YOUTH IN GOVERNANCE 4-H PROGRAM

Mission:

K.N.O.W.L.E.D.G.E. mission is to Embrace and Empower the youth in community based programs that has a high sustainable quality of life giving Cleveland a Legacy of Successful Emerging Young Leaders

 

VISION:

K.N.O.W.L.E.D.G.E. vision is to effectively recruit and empower youth in our community by giving them the ability to develop a nurturing and collaborative working relationship with the communities’ leaders. Youth representatives will exist on many of the Union Miles Development Corporations neighborhood actions committees. K.N.O.W.L.E.D.G.E vision is to also have the unifying effort of the adults and community leaders in our surrounding communities, this can empowered the youth to better understand the economic and educational challenges that our communities face. Obtaining this vision will allow the youth to foster a spirit of activism, leadership, education and career development.

GOALS:

 1.  K.N.O.W.L.E.D.G.E. goal is to address the needs of our community

2. Take a holistic approach to focusing on solutions.

3. Establish and utilize a strategic planning process.

4. Build self-respect and self-esteem.

5. Partner the youth and community leaders to have collaborative efforts in developing and identify the need to have growth in educational and economical community development

6. Participate in community forums that has direct effects in our community development

 

Our goal is to have success in embracing this strategic plan, causing the youth to adapt a desire to maintain educational empowerment, community development and awareness, which will allow them to become;
