here a step by step guide to setting up a bolt rig thats what it will look like when finished
this is what youl need any make will do
1. thread
your mainline through the anti tangle tubing its up to you how long this
is but anything from 6 inch to 3 ft is ok ive not shown this step as
its easy enough to do 2. thread the rubber onto your mainline thin end 1st
3. now thread the safety clip on to mainline
4.now atach your lead to the prong of the clip
5. now slide the rubber over the end of the clip so the prong is held tight to the clip
6. now tie your rig on
7. now push your swivel into the hole in the end of your lead clip
making sure it comes out with a good tug ,if its too tight its not safe
to use,i think its size 8 swivels that fit but check to be safe
8. last step is to push the anti-tangle tubing into the end of the rubber
basic helicopter rig
theres a few ways of doing it you can either get a special bead with a
swivel eye coming out of it sorry i havnt got any so cant take
a pik
or just use a swivel
youl need,
easy way
2 x rubber beads
1 x lead
1 x made up rig either tied to a swivel or a proper helicopter style swivel bead.
1. thread on a bead
2. thread on your rig either using a swivel or proper bead swivel.
3. thread on another bead
4. tie your lead on
5. slide it all down tight to lead and tie a stop knot with a heavy bit of line or braid or power gum
you can also use anti-tangle tubing if you like or leadcore works well
too but if using leadcore dont use a stop knot and make sure the beads
slide over the leadcore splice
