Lammas Celebration, South East Idaho

This year, our good friend John, will host the Lammas celebration in Pocatello, Idaho.
We plan on gathering around 7pm at his place and continuing from there.
This year, it is a Bake & Share, so fix something yummy and bring the recipe to share with everyone!

Activities in Idho Falls, ID area

Well Met,
    Aiyanna and I discussed doing some more activities in the Idaho Falls area while we were at Pagans Night Out today. Both of us so much enjoy teaching and learning that we discussed open classes, workshops, and gatherings a bit more than usual.
    We were thinking on holding a few open classes on Paganism (in general) at the Library here within the next few weeks/months. First we have to finish talking over the subject matter(s) and layout a format, then of course marketing the event. We do a lot of online chatting and discussion, but would like to start 'in person' meetings as well. Speaking of on-line chats, we also are thinking on a monthly or bi-monthly open chat at our website. We have hosted some before there, but were mostly on-line meetings of the members of the KOS and the chat page isn't accessable to everyone, but we will change that if we decide to run new chats there. Also, none of us has really used our fourm on the site, and I even opened up a few topics for the Idaho Pagans to assemble there, so we need to start posting there, it can be for ongoing chat topics and discussions for everyone rather than the large amount of email that I process, although many of that is from friends, students and mentors from various other places.
    Seeing how traveling has quickly become expensive for us, we really want to focus more on our local pagans here in south east Idaho. By no means does that mean that we will no longer communicate or be active in the other fourms, groups and organizations that we are involved with, but we do want to continue to build and network here on a more local base. The few local pagans that we have met in the last 2 years have been all looking for the same thing; teachers/mentors, information and experiance, group gatherings/events/rituals, and a sense of community, here in this area. Together we can do that!

Update!!!
The Idaho Falls Pagans Night Out will be held every first Sunday at 7 pm at the Idaho Falls Denny's (950 lindsay Blvd)
This move is done for the availability of most people, as Mondays were not working out for some.

Knights Activities - Idaho

As our dedication to our community, we are going to begin offering various services to our local community, that being the community within and around Idaho Falls, ID. (Other Knights activities will be listed by the States that the hosting Knights live in)

That which we will offer in Idaho are:

Local Full and New Moon Rites held at our appartment- circles will be held at 7pm, open to any and all pagan traditions;those who wish to lead a circle should contact thedruids003@yahoo.com one week before ritual
Counciling: for individuals and couples, life counciling, relationship counciling, emotional counciling
Pagan Parenting Support- open talk and general discussion
Pagans Night Out- a monthly get-together, location will be selected and posted in March
Study Groups and Classes:

General Pagan Studies- open discussion and round table sharing of research
Wiccan Studies- open classes on wiccan and witchcraft traditions and practices
Druidic Course- teachings of the Pan-Celtic druids, traditional Irish druid, reconstructionist outlooks
Cultural History of Europe- a general research class for informative background work
Pagan Myth and Lore- open study of pagan ledgends and research of customs
Knights Training- classes held by the KOS on servitude and dedication to pagan communities, including all available courses
Maiden & Squire Course- a prerequsite to our Pagan Clergy Course; studies in circle/ritual duties to the community
Pagan Clergy classes- a well rounded course in ritual construction, history, comparitive religious studies, Ordains and Traditions, community services, cival laws and church requerments, affiliation or individual incorperation, counciling, basic psycology, sociology and group dynamics

These classes and events will be scheduled and held begining March 2007, as we gather inquireies. The calender for these events will be posted begining March 2007 on our website and on the Knights Yahoo Group.

Also, we will begin online chats in March 2007 as well, dates and times will be posed at least 24 hours before the chats.
