YAHOO-Type advances and declines (3 words) on the yahoo front page .select first in the list. when box appears, record up volume/down volume under NYSE  column.You can also from left hand menu select US indicies then select S&P  FROM TOP OF BOX..click on the symbol to get the chart.Then select technical analysis Underneath chart (scroll down)  select MARKET OVERVIEW. this will give you updated market reports and market breadth .       * NOTE. remember to constantly refresh the page if you are studying during market hours.
