Dear Distinguished Delegates and Advisors,

I am pleased to announce KnightMUN Conference, to be held in October 2009, at the University of Central Florida. KnightMUN strives to continue its legacy as an educational conference that provides high school students with the oppurtunity to gain experience, training, or just continue their progress in the MUN world. Applying a professional atmosphere, the delegates gain valuable experiences in rules and procedure as well as preparation for future conferences. We are planning many diverse committees that both new and experienced delegates enjoy the conference.

Since the first KnightMUN conference, held in May 2003, KnightMUN has helped prepare students for other conferences while teaching the basic strategies and rules of Model United Nations, all while having a competitive and exciting atmosphere for new and experienced delegates alike. KnightMUN strives to promote interest in international studies, current events, or even politics, while emphasizing necessary skills needed in the workforce, such as public speaking skills, the art of persuasion, and writing skills. KnightMUN was founded and is run by the United Nations Association of UCF (UNA-UCF) along with being officially endorsed by the Greater Orlando UNA-USA Chapter..

As is KnightMUN tradition, we are building off the previous years to make this year even better. As we finish building the conference to its best ability I will publish more details on the website. I am looking forward to your participation in our conference this year, and for all future KnightMUNs.
