patronen voor de knifty knitter

tuniek

  • Gebruikte wol: een onregelmatig garen ( 80% acryl en 20 % wol) voor nld 6-8 met een  looplengte: 50 gram = 100meter. Ik heb gebreid met Slubgaren van Hans Textiel . Ik heb 400 gram gebruikt.

Stekenproef met flat/U knitstitch: 13 steken en 25 toeren is 10x10 cm. Overige steken: mock chrochet en  de haaksteken: lossen, vasten en stokjes.

Maat: ongeveer maat 40-44. De panden zijn 50 cm breed ( gemeten over de flatknitstitch). De schouders zijn 15 cm breed. De lengte van het mockgedeelte is 30 cm en de bovenkant met de flatknitstitch is 36 cm. Totale hoogte is 66 cm.

 

De tuniek is gebreid op de lange blauwe Knifty knitter over 62 pinnen.

Markeer de volgende pinnen: Midden op een lange kant is pin 1 en de pin rechts daarvan is pin 62. Markeer ook pin 19 en pin 44. Pin 1-19 is een schouder en pin 44-62 is de andere schouder.

Verder nodig: een haaknaald 5-6 en een dikke stopnaald en een schaar.

Omdat de mock chrochet steek meer ruimte inneemt  dan de flat knitstitch, ontstaat de wijde onderkant vanzelf. Ik heb 2 koordjes door de bovenste toer van de mock chrochet steek gehaald.

De halsrand is niet afgewerkt en krult daarom naar buiten om. De armsgaten zijn omgehaakt met 1 toer stokjes.

dubbele ewrap opzet: pin 1 2x wikkelen en HO pin 2 2x wikkelen en HO. Enz.

Flat knitstitch: leg werkdraad boven de lus op de pin en HO. U- Stitch: als flatknit, maar ga iets meer om de pin heen.

 

 Werkwijze: 

  • ACHTERPAND: Zet met de dubbele ewrap alle 62 pinnen op. Brei niet in het rond, maar heen en weer!!!
  • Brei 1 toer averecht.
  • Brei dan 30 toeren mock chrochet stitch.
  • Brei daarna 80 toeren met de flatknitstitch of met de U stitch. De eerste steek van elke toer wordt overgeslagen.
  • toer 81: brei pin 1 t/m 19         toer 82: brei pin 19 t/m 1 enz.        toer 90 brei 19 t/m 1
  • Kant dan pin 1 t/m 20 af als volgt: haal met de haaknaald lus van pin 1 en haak 1 losse. haal de lus van pin 2 door de lus op de haaknaald en haal weer 1 losse. Enz.
  • Haak dan langs de zijkant van de 9 toeren vasten. en kant verder de lussen op de pinnen 21 t/m 43 af. Zet de losse op pin 44 en HO.
  • Brei de andere schouder, begin dus weer bij toer 81 over de pinnen 44 t/m 62.
  • Brei t/m toer 90 en kant af vanaf pin 44
  • VOORPAND: zet 62 pinnen op met dubbele ewrap en brei 1 toer averecht.
  • brei 30 toeren mock chrochet
  • brei dan 70 toeren flat knitstitch of de U-stitch.
  • Toer 71: brei 1 t/m 19       toer 72: brei 19 t/m 1 enz tot en met toer 90.
  • Kant dan af met de haaknaald zoals bij het achterpand staat beschreven.
  • Brei dan de andere kant en begin weer bij toer 71.
  • Kant af na toer 90.

Naai de schoudernaden , de zijnaden, maar hou 24 cm open voor de armsgaten. Haak om d earmsgaten 1 ronde stokjes. Werk alle loshangende draden af. Draai van 2x2 draden van ong 3,5 meter 2 koorden en haal deze door de bovenste 2 toeren van de mockchrochet. sla bij het doorrijgen van deze koorden steeds 1 'gat' over.

ENGLISH PATTERN:

Use yarn for needle size 9-11 ( chunkey weight 5) 80% acrylics and 20% wool. 50 grams = 100 meter ( 1,7 ounce = 109 yard) I hope this is oké….. I’ve used 400 grams or almost 15 ounce. Swatch with the U stitch: 13 stitches and 25 rows is 10 x 10 cm or 4 x 4 inches.                                                                              Used knitstiches: U stitch, purlstitch and the mock-chrochet stitch. Used chrochet stitches: chain stitch, slip stitch and the double chrochet stitch.        

Size: medium. The panels are 50 cm ( 20 inch) wide ( measured on the part with the U stitch).    The shoulders are 15 cm (6 inch) wide    Lenght of the panels : From shoulders to bottom: 66 cm (26,5 inch) ) for the mock part 30 cm (12 inch and 36 cm (14,5 inch) for the U stitchpart The mock chrochet stitch is a bigger stitch then the U stitch, so the lower part of the panels are wider.

This tunica is knitted on the long blue Knifty knitter on all the 62 pegs. It is knitted in 2 flat panels.   Mark the following pegs: On the front row the middle peg is peg 1. From peg 1 count to the left and mark peg 19 and peg 44. Peg 62 is the peg on the right side of peg 1. You will be knitting the shoulders on peg 1-19 and peg 44 –62.  The armholes are finished with 1 round of double chrochet. I didn’t chrocheted around the neckline , so therefore it is curling.

Double erwap cast on: ewrap peg 1 twice, knit bottom loop over. Ewrap peg 2 twice and knit bottom loop over. Etc….

U stitch: lay yarn above the loop on the peg,just like the flat stitch, but now make a U turn around the peg to the back of the peg. Then knit over. Do not wrap all around the peg!

  • Back: Cast on with double ewrap all 62 pegs. Do NOT join in the round, but knit a flat panel!!
  • Knit 1 row purls.
  • Knit 30 rows with the mock chrochet stitch.
  • Knit 80 rows U stitch. Slip the first stitch on every row.
  • Knit shoulder as follows:Row 81: Knit peg 1-19 row 81: knit peg 19-1 repeat these pegs up to row 90. This row is knitted on peg 19-1.
  • Bind of peg 1-19: take with a chrochet hook loop of peg 1 and make a chain stitch. Take loop on peg 2 and pull through loop on chrochethook. Make 1 chain stitch. Etc untill you reach peg 19.
  • Chrochet on the edge of the 9 rows of the shoulder slipstitches and go on binding of the loops on pegs 20 – 43. Put the chain stitch om peg 44 and knit this one over.
  • Knit the other shoulder , start again on row 81 and knit 10 rows on the remaining pegs 44-62. When you’ve knitted row 90 bind off pegs 44-62.
  • Front: Cast on with double ewrap all 62 pegs. Do NOT join in the round, but knit a flat panel!!
  • Knit 1 row purls
  • Knit 30 rows with the mock chrochet stitch. Knit 70 rows U stitch. Slip the first stitch on every row.
  • Row 71: knit peg 1-19 row 72 knit 19-1 etc knit until row 90. Then start binding of the same way as you did on the back..
  • Start on peg 44 again on row 71 and knit the other shoulder. Bind of after row 90.

Sew the shoulderseams and sew the back and front on the sides, but leave about 9,5 inch open for the armholes. Make 1 round of double chrochet around the armholes. Weave in all loose ends. Twist from 2 x 2 pieces of yarn ( appr 4 yards) 2 strings and pull those 2 strings through row 29 and row 30 of the mock chrochet.

Bijpassend sjaaltje met glaskralen.

Zet op de lange blauwe knifty knitter 50 pinnen op de de dubbele ewrap. Brei 1 toer averecht en daarna 4 toeren met de mock chrochet stitch. Kant daarna losjes af. Omdat de afkantsteken minder ruimte innemen dan de mockchrochet, gaat het sjaaltje vanzelf mooi rond lopen. Wordt het té rond, maak dan af en toe 2 lossen ertussen.

Zet aan 1 kant 2 grote kralen aan als knopen. Door de gaten van de mock chrochet heb je vanzelf al knoopsgaten. Maak daarna aan de korte kant franje. Rijg naar eigen inzicht kralen aan. Maak tussen de kralen knopen in het draad. Rijg afwisselend aan 1 draad of aan 2 draden de kralen aan. Deze glaskralen heb ik onlangs bij de Xenos gekocht voor het superbedrag van 2 euro.

ENGLISH PATTERN:

Cast on with double ewrap 50 pegs  on the long blue Knifty Knitter . Knit 1 row of purls and 4 rows of the mock chrochet. Bind off with a chrochet hook, ( see bindin off on the tunica) . Because the bind off side is thigter then the cast on side, the scarf will make a nice curve.

Sew on 1 side 2 big beads. Tie fringe on 1 short side and decorate with beads. Make a knot between 2 beads.

Wol: Phildar Impact Sport 2000. 80% acryl en 20% wol. Looplengte is 68 meter per 100 gram. geschikt voor breinld 7-8

breiproef op de rode en groen knifty knitterring :10 steken en 13 toeren met de ewrap is 10 x 10 cm.

Het vest is maat medium-large.( ongeveer maat 40-44) Het is een wijd model. Breedte van de panden is 58 cm, hoogte van het vest is 58 cm. mouwlengte is 53 cm.

Benodigheden: 9 bollen van 100 gram, rits van 50 cm, haaknaald nr 7-8, grote stopnaald, naaigaren en een naainaald.

2 steken minderen : Zet lus pin 2 op pin 1 en HO (haal over). Zet lus terug op pin 2. Zet lus pin 3 op pin 2 en  HO. Zet lus terug op pin 3.

Meerderen: Zet de kantsteek 1 pin opzij en zet de lus van de vorige toer (van pin 2) op de lege pin.

werkwijze: Sla steeds bij elke toer de eerste steek over. (slipped stitch)

Half achterpand: Zet 30 pinnen op met de ewrap. Toer 1, 3, 14, 16, 27, 29 averecht breien. Alle andere toeren in de ewrap breien. Minder voor de mouwinzet in toer 57: 2 steken, in toer 59: 2 steken, in toer 61: 1 steek en in toer 63: 1 steek. Brei over deze 24 steken verder en minder dan in toer 83 voor de halskant 10 steken en aan de andere kant voor de schouder 6 steken. In toer 85 voor de schouder 4 steken minderen en in toer 87 de overgebleven steken afkanten. Brei nog een half achterpand, maar dan in SPIEGELBEELD.

Half voorpand: Zet 28 pinnen op met de ewrap. Brei toer 1, 3, 14, 16, 27, 29 in averecht. Alle andere toeren in de ewrap breien. Minder voor de mouwinzet in toer 57: 2 steken, in toer 59: 2 steken, in toer 61 : 1 steek en in toer 63: 1 steek. Brei over deze 22 steken verder en minder dan in toer 70 voor de halskant: 4 steken, in toer 72: 2 steken, in toer 74: 1 steek en in toer 76: 1 steek. Brei over deze 14 steken verder en minder in toer 83 voor de schouder: 6 steken en in toer 85: 4 steken. Kant in toer 87 de overgebleven steken af. Brei nog een voorpand maar dan in SPIEGELBEELD. Haak de voorranden om met een toer vasten.

Mouwen: Op de groene ring: zet 22 steken op met de ewrap. Brei toer 1, 3, 5, 7, 19, 21 in averecht. Alle andere toeren in erwap. Meerder 6 x 1 steek aan beide kanten in toer: 8, 17, 26, 35, 44, 53. Brei verder en ga dan voor de mouwkop in toer 57, 59, 61, 63  aan elke kant 1 steek minderen. In toer 71, 73 aan elke kant 2 steken. Kant alle overgebleven steken af in toer 75. Brei nog een mouw.

Kraag: Zet met de ewrap 2 steken op. Brei de oneven toeren in averecht en de even toeren in ewrap. Zet in toer 1 aan de rechterkant met een enkele ewrap 1 pin erbij op. Doe dit ook in toer 3, 5, 7, 9, 11. Er zijn nu 8 steken. Brei zo 53 cm in ribbelsteek. Maak dan verkorte toeren: draad zit aan pin 1. Sla pin 1 over en brei pin 2 t/m 7 averecht en ewrap terug. 9 sla wel zoals altijd de eerste pin over) Brei dan pin 2 t/m 6 averecht en ewrap terug. Brei pin 2 t/m 5 av. en ewrap terug. Brei pin 2 t/m 4 en ewrap terug. Brei pin 2 t/m 3 en ewrap terug. Brei pin 2 averecht. Zet dan pin 7 op pin 8, HO en zet terug enz tot de steken afgekant zijn.

In elkaar zetten: Gebruik zoveel mogelijk de matrassteek. (Als je niet weet hoe deze gedaan wordt, google dan even op 'matrassteek"). Naai met een dikke stopnaald en de gebruikte wol de schoudernaden aan elkaar. Vervolgends zet je de mouwen in en daarna de zij- en ondermouwnaden. Leg het vest en de bies met de goede kanten naar boven en naai de lange kant van de kraag en de halsrand aan elkaar. Leg de gesloten rits onder de voorpanden en speld deze vast.Naai met kleine stiksteekjes de rits aan de voorpanden.

 

ENGLISH PATTERN:

Used Yarn: 80% acrylics and 20 % wool. Suitable for needles 10-11. Bulky –super bulkeyweight. ( 5-6) 100 grams is 68 meter (74 yard is 3,5 ounce) You will need 900 grams = 620 yard = 31.5 ounce of yarn and a zipper. Swatch on the green or red knity knitter with the ewrap: 10 stitches and 13 rows is 4 x 4 inches. This vest is medium-large size. The panels are 58 cm (23 inch) wide and 23 inch long. The sleeves are 21 inch long.

Used stitches: ewrap and purl. The front is 2 seperate panels and the back also, but has a seam in the middle. Everything is knitted as a flat panel. Every first stitch of the row is slipped.

Decrease: put loop from peg 2 on peg 1 and knit over. Put loop back on peg 2 etc. Increase: put loop from peg 1 to the empty peg beside peg 1 and take the loop from the previous row and put that one on the empty peg 1.

  • 1/2Back:
  • cast on 30 stitches with ewrap. Purl in row 1, 3, 14, 16, 27, 29. All the other rows are ewrap.
  • For the armhole decrease in row 57: 2 stitches row 59: 2 stitches row 61: 1 stitch row 63: 1 stitch.
  • Knit over these remaining 24 stitches and decrease for the neckline ( on the other side of the armhole of course!) in row 83: 10 stitches and on the other side of the panel for the shoulder : 6 stitches.
  • In row 85 decrease : 4 stitches for the shoulder.
  • Bind of in row 87.
  •  Knit another ½ back panel but in MIRROR image. Sew these 2 parts togheter using the matrasstitch
  • 1/2 front:
  • Cast on 28 stitches with ewrap. Purl in row 1, 3, 14, 16,27, 29. All other rows are ewrap.
  • For the armhole decrease in row 57: 2 stitches row 59: 2 stitches row 6: 1 stitch row 63: 1 stitch.
  • Knit over these remaining 22 stitches and decrease for the neckline in row 70 : 4 stitches in row 72: 2 stitches in row74: 1 stitch and in row 76: 1 stitch.
  • Knit over these remaining 14 stitches decrease for the shoulder : 6 stitches and in row 85: 4 stitches
  • Bind of in row 87.
  • but in MIRROR image.
  • Chrochet on the sides where the zipper has to come slipstiches.
  • Sleeve:
  • Cast on 22 stitches ( green ring) Knit row 1, 3, 5, 7, 19, 21 in purl. All other rows are ewrap.
  • Increase on both sides1 stitch in row: 8, 17, 26, 35, 44, 53.For the top of the sleeve decrease in row 57, 59, 61, 63 on both sides 1 stitch. And decrease in row 71, 73 on both sides 2 stitches.
  • Bind off the remaining stitches in row 75.
  • Knit another sleeve.
  • Collar:
  • cast on 2 stitches. Knit uneven rows in purl and even rows in ewrap. ( garterstitch) Slip the first stitch of every row.
  • In row 1increase on the right side 1 stitch with 1 ewrap. Ewrap these 3 stitches in row 2.
  • Repeat this in row 3, 5, 7, 9, 11. You have now 8 stitches.
  • Knit in garterstitch untill you have 53 cm ( 21 inch).
  • Working yarn is on peg 1. Knit short rows as follows: Slip peg 1, purl peg 2-7 . Next row ewrap . Next row: purl peg 2-6. Next row ewrap Next row purl peg 2-5. Next row ewrap. Next row purl 2-4. Next row ewrap. Next row purl 2-3. Next row ewrap. Purl peg 2.
  • Bind off: put loop peg 7 on 8 KO and put back on 7 etc.

 Using the matrasstitch: First sew the shoulders. Then sew the sleeves on the front and back. Sew the seams of the sleeves and the front and back sides..With the right sides facing upwarts sew the long side of the collar to the neckline. Lay the zipper under the front, pin first and then sew
