I take in unwanted rabbits of any kind (and occasionally cavies "guinea pigs"). I do not typically pay for them however. You can drop your bunny off or I can pick him/her up. There is no need to leave cages or feed or hay, however it is always accepted. I do ask that I get ALL info on the bunny that you have, where you got it from, if there's papers, if there's vet records, if it's ever had any medications, or has/had a disease, if it's fixed, or if it's been bred before.
I don't care if you're a breeder trying to get rid of stock, or a pet owner who just can't take care of the little one anymore. I do not judge.
I keep the rabbits and make sure they are of sound health then rehome them. Typically my rabbits go as childrens pets, 4-H projects, to schools as class pets, or to nursing homes. Also, at Crhistmas and Easter my bunnies get "rented" for photographs and parties, where I take them and make sure they are provided for, the company/person gets to use them without having to take on the responsability.
