Carlisle Airport finally has the self serve fuel system installed and working perfectly. After many weeks of trying to get the software and certain functions of the system to work it is ready to go. Thanks to Ken Little and our Engineer on Staff, Robert "Bob" Bartoli for there expertise. You guys are awesome,  I don't care what anybody says. Please click on "Self Serve" link to the left for instructions on how to use this system.

It is winter time again and the chance for that big snow is just a cold day away. Not to worry, the Carlisle Airport has your flying interests at heart. The Dodge pickup and snow plow have been recently serviced and are standing by when old man winter pays us a visit. Our care taker will handle any snow emergency here at the airport. Don't let those cold temperatures keep you away.

All you hanger bums and just general coffee drinkers, stop up at the Airport Office for a round. The talk is stimulating and most of the world's problems are solved by 1600, when the office generally closes. You will find topics from flying to will Hillary be president or who is the new bidder for the airport.

The Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority, long expected to buy Carlisle Airport, might step aside in favor of a mystery bidder. If were convinced the party interested in purchasing the airport is serious and would do a good job, were not going to compete with them, said John Ward, chairman of the authority's board. Jim Kingsborough, part of the airport's ownership group, said negotiations with a private buyer were very, very preliminary. We haven't received an official offer from anybody, he said declining to name the interested party. The Susquehana authority has discussed purchasing the Carlisle Airport for a few years. During that time the authority bought the former Chambersburg Airport, renamed it the Franklin County Regional Airport and resurfaced the runway.
