Violet is my elder sister, and at the monet she is sixteen years old and lives like me in the Big City, only on the other side of town. She is married to Quigley Quagmire, a Volunteer and Friend, Dearly. Violet, unlike me is an inventor. She is an exceptional mechanic and has infact won several awards, when our parents were alive. If you knew Violet well, like I do, you can tell when she is cogs, levers, chains and sprockets of her inventing mind are buzzing and wirring as she ties her hair up in a ribbon, so as not let something as trivial as hair get in her way! I do not know what me and Sunny would have done with out Violets guidence, and her skills and resourcefulness.
Sunny Kit Baudelaire is my younger sister, who is now four and has started at Pruffrock Preparatory, as a student, not as a secraterial assisstant! To be honest, though, I don't think Sunny needs to go to school, as she is already very intelligent, and is an acomplished cook, due to her interest in cullenery skills. She has perfected them in the past two years! Pruffrock Preparatory now has a new Vice Principal by the way, our good friend Jerome Squalour. He is a LOT more understanding than Nero, and lets Sunny come home when the school day ends at two thirty, and have the weekends of, to look after Beatrice with me.
