Well I'm surprised that you don't know what Gate-keepers is, or maybe, you just want to visit this page, perhaps? Well anyway, Gate-keepers was a Playstation game, before it became an anime (and that's why I want to go and find and buy that CD, because I also like playing PS ^_^). But, there are also differences between the two. Like for example, Francine Allumage is present in the game while she doesn't exist in the anime, and Megumi Kurogane can only be seen in the anime and not in the game. And other differences are in the gate-keepers' gates and abilities, but I guess I don't have the info by now (or maybe I won't have it forever ^_^). Well, what I mean is, there are lots of gk sites out there, which are not character shrines. Like for example, it's in AEGIS Files, yeah, because it's not just a character shrine (like KKSNB ;_;) I'm sure I've seen it there.

So anyway, the series starts with Shun Ukiya, a schoolboy who is good in Kendo and lives a simple life with his mother and little sister. One day on his way home after a Kendo match, he sees some invaders heading on to crash his beloved family. And so, he opens his gate in an attempt to stop the alien beings, and, with the help of Ruriko Ikusawa who gave him her strength, he was able to defeat the intruders. And then, after the wonderful victory, the past has been recalled, the past where Shun and Ruri the SNIVELER where neighbors! He he! Now isn't the story wonderful, even during just the first episode? So anyway, the story goes on until Shun and Ruriko meet other gate-keepers and encounter different foes and still some invaders, and get caught in the middle of a life where there are twists and turns and where they are encaged in a task to save the world!
