We are currently working on about molecular biology of prostate cancer, in terms of DNA damage repair, H2AX phosphorylation and the rate of foci formation as a response to DNA damage. We are interested in ATM, ATR, CHK1, CHK2 p53 (Ser15, Ser16,Ser20) phosphorylations, temporal and sequestral pattern of physical associations of DSB repair complex’ during the damage repair response and the influences of NKX3.1 on these  by the topoisomerase inhibitors mediated damage and repair processes.

We are also isolating and characterizing putative anti-cancer compounds extracted from endemic Alkanna sp. in Turkey.
