ShaunW and GerryG have been beavering away at activies far removed from greasy engines and slippery masts over the past few months. What follows is the initial fruits of their labours. To develop the project, they now need co-operation of EVERYONE on the mailing list of MSTS Groups. Your input is vital and we really beg for feedback and ASAP.
This activity should occupy you for an hour or two, while keeping you out of harm's way. It will also act as an informal training session in using the web to YOUR best advantage and that of the Society. Communication or lack of it is the root cause of the considerable amount of disquiet in the Society.
Smart and all as G&S are, they don't know whether it is possible to get into the internal workings of YAHOO GROUPS without having a YAHOO address bonded to Groups. We want feedback from "Anyone" , "Someone" , "Everyone" , who does NOT have a YAHOO identity, but can and does receive THIS MESSAGE and can complete the exercise which follows!
This exercise is designed to test whether everyone in Groups can actually access and use what is a very powerful facility. We KNOW it works for those who have a YAHOO addy. Your responses to this experiment are to be sent to
AND NO OTHER
and do it, please, by COMPOSING a message
rather than hitting the "REPLY" button.
We can do without 75 replies coming on "Groups"
Is that OK with everyone? Then; let's go.
BEFORE YOU START THIS QUEST
Copy, Paste and Print all that follows to the very end of the message:
Unless, like us, you are computer whizz-kids.
