Brussels Labour

The Branch works to promote Labour in Belgium and to ensure that the views of members here are heard in the UK, in particular through the party's Policy Forums. We play a full role in Labour International, and co-operate with other socialist parties in Brussels. Membership will enable you to be informed of events held by those parties.

Although Labour International now has branch status with the Labour Party, overseas branches do not receive funding from the national party and we rely on additional subscriptions from members. The Party has decided that Labour International Branches can require an additional payment to the national subscription, to meet costs including those for room hire for our meetings, funding social events, sending out mailings, and paying the running costs of our website.

The Brussels Labour subscription rate is currently 25 euros, with a reduced rate of 5 euros. You can pay by making a transfer to the Group's account 001- 1128765- 52: (please put your name and '2007 subs' in the communication). The easiest way is to become a member is to complete the membership form.

Full membership of the Branch is only open to Labour Party International members but Labour supporters living in Belgium can have associate membership, without voting rights.
