Dawn of Insanity

Kittycat's Insane Ramblings

POEMS

{This poem is from the POV of a female werewolf. It was sorta inspired by Harry Potter 3. I wrote it at 1:00 PM, during an Evanescense concert video}

Werewolf’s Dawn

The full moon rises,

My solemn howl sounds.

“There she goes again,” you say.

Won’t you understand?

Can you understand?

Not a human,

Not a wolf,

What am I?

A horrible beast

Meant to be shunned?

Or am I something more?

You look at me,

And you shrink away.

You shudder at my stare.

You laugh when I ask, “Why?”

How can you understand?

Why would you understand?

Not a human,

Not a wolf.

Am I really hated?

Am I really feared?

Or am I the one who hates and fears?

I watch you,

You watch me.

You lie in wait,

But I wait vainly,

For you to understand.

You’ll never understand.

I know you’ll never understand.

Not a human,

Not a wolf,

I am a werewolf.

That is what I am.

That is what I will always be.

Pledge to the FC

  By Kittycat

Oh, our FC, our once-beautiful FC,

Always we will fight for thee.

We will fight until the last n00b falls,

Until they are stricken from within your walls.

Our defenses may be small,

But through it all,

We will stand by you no matter what.

The FC flag flies high,

Even though it’s been taken from the sky.

We will always keep it in our hearts

As we fight to keep the n00bs from these parts.

Even when all hope seems lost,

Remember that we will fight no matter the cost.

We go for help, though some won’t return,

But for you, our love will burn,

And until that day,

When we can say:

The FC is free,

That day, we hope to see.

We may not be many,

Some day, the rest of the true FC’ers will rouse;

‘Til then, remember our solemn vows.

‘Til then we will fight for thou,

We think of this now.

Oh, our FC, our once-beautiful FC,

Always we will fight for thee.

We will fight until the last n00b falls,

Until they are stricken from within your walls.

Conversations Between Two Horses

by Kittycat

The Wild to the Tame

Tell me of your own life,

Said the captive one to me,

Tell me of this free life

Said she.

Said I to her,

“The life I live is pleasant to me;

Herd life is wonderful-

I am never lonely,

And for warmth we only need togetherness.

We may need to travel for  food,

But again I am never alone.”

“Don’t you ever wish you didn’t

Have to be always on the move?”

She asked of me.

Maybe I do some of the time,

But I don’t wish to change.”

Said I

But you how can you stand

Always running?

Asked she.

“Yes, I must run,

    But it is something I love;

   And sometimes even I

   May rest”

  I said to her.

 But how can you take

   Living in fear?

  She asked, unable to comprehend.

 “Dangers do abound in

  This life. But this is

Freedom’s price. And I know

I can rely on my strength

And feet.”

I told her.

I know I am where I am meant to be.

.

The Tame to the Wild

Tell me of this life you live,”

Said the wild one to me,

Tell me of life as a captive,

Said he.

Said I to him,

“This life I live is pleasant;

My stall is comfortable-

Warm when it needs to be

And cool when it will suffice.

Food is brought to me,

And for such a slight price.”

Don’t you ever long for freedom?

He asked of me.

“Some days, yes, I dream

Of being free.

But I am grateful.”

Said I.

But how can you stand

Life within walls?

Asked he.

“Walls may keep me

Confined in this land,

But I am protected by the same.”

I said to him.

But how can you take

Your strength being controlled,

By the weak?

He asked, unable to understand.

“Containment is only the

Price I must pay. And I

Find that I am controlled

Not by the weak,

But by one who is only meek”

I told him.

I know I am where I am meant to be.
