My cattery is a retirement hobby (to keep me out of trouble). I'm raising Scottish Folds because I love their personalities. I love their prairie dog stance when they're interested in something high up. I do have a British Shorthair and American Shorthairs for breeding purposes with the Folds. All of my cats are registered with CFA.
I have recently purchased a red Tabby Scottish Male Fold. He comes from CheshirSmile cattery. Thanks Olga and thanks Vicki & Peter for transporting this cutie to me. He will be a main stud when he's older. A couple of months later I got a gray Male Fold and again, thank you Olga, Vicki & Peter.
I have recently leased a shaded silver American Shorthair female from Howard of Clowntown Cats here in Phoenix. Thanks for all your help Howard. He also gave me a green-eyes white American Shorthair female. I just can't wait for Dearg to grow enough to sire kittens.
All of my cats are indoor cats only because I do not declaw them, nor do I want them in fights and hurt or catching a dreadful disease. They will also keep me company and might be better than kids (as my husband once told me......."at least Kelly (our cat at the time) hasn't hurt my feelings like the kids have." )

Here's some information on British Shorthairs: Their date of origin is in the 1880's in Great Brittain. They came from Chinchilla Shorthairs. They're compact and well muscled. Their thick undercoats keeps them warm on cold days. Their fur is the most beautiful fur I've seen on cats, the fur glistens when the light hits it just right. |
AMERICAN SHORTHAIRS:
Facts:
« Date of Origin ~ 1904
« Place of Origin ~ United States
« Came From ~ American and British Shorthair
Description: This easy going cat is more common in the United States and Canada then anywhere else. They were called the Domestic Shorthair until 1965.
Their thick, hard coats are dense enough to protect them from moisture, cold, and superficial injuries. They have a full cheeked face and a muscular body. Although they still share similarities with household cats their breeders goal is to try and produce the best of these qualities.
We arrived September 23, 2009.
The cattery is in the process of notifying people on the waiting list. When we've gone through the list, then they'll be available to newer requests. See our pictures in the nursery photo album.
