The original Japanese "Iron Chef" series is back on the air in the United States. The Fine Living Network will begin airing episodes on May 5th at 11 p.m./10 p.m. central.

Chef Michael Symon has been crowned the newest Iron Chef after his victory in the finale of "The Next Iron Chef." Expect to see him battling on "Iron Chef America" in the coming weeks, including a special introductory "holiday battle."
Also, to celebrate the holidays, Food Network is holding another all-star edition of "Iron Chef America." Iron Chef Cora and Paula Deen will be facing off against Tyler Florence and Robert Irvine. Going by the success of last year's show, there's little doubt that this edition will be a ratings smash for Food Network.

Food Network has sent out the press release announcing their next reality series- The Next Iron Chef! In it, chefs will compete to become the next Iron Chef on Iron Chef America. It has been announced that the "Iron Chef America" 90 minute "Food Network All-Stars" battle featuring Giada De Laurentiis and Rachael Ray was the number one cable program of its premiere night on November 12. It was a major ratings win for Food Network, and beat out all of its televised competition.

Today is an "Iron Chef America" special event- The Food Network All-Stars battle. In this 90 minute special, Iron Chef Flay is teamed with Food Network star Giada De Laurentiis and pitted against Iron Chef Batali and Food Network personality Rachael Ray. The secret ingredient is cranberries, a theme fit for the upcoming holiday season.

The fourth season of "Iron Chef America" premieres today. Iron Chef Flay takes on Challenger Graham Bowles, kicking off the action of season four.

Big update today, everyone! Twelve new Iron Chef wallpapers by boards member Arrianna have been added to the site, and the Iron Chef Chen wallpaper from the last update has been altered with more vivid colors. The new wallpapers include two Iron Chef Kobe wallpapers, three "King of Iron Chefs Tournament" wallpapers, and seven wallpapers of Morimoto's Iron Chef America sous chef, Omae.
