Unless a man feels he has a good enough memory,

 he should never venture to lie

 If your morals make you dreary,

 depend upon it, they are wrong 

 

There is only one hapiness in life,  to love and be loved  

 Life is ours to be spent, not to be saved 

There is nothing good or bad but thinking makes it so 

 Some people are so afraid to die that they never begin to live 

The critical period in matrimony is breakfast-time 

 Creaking wagons last the longest.   

 

 The wider our experience,the deeper our tolerance 

 

 He who sees a need and waits to be asked for

 help is as unkind as if he had refused it .

 

 The world turns     

 and the cross stands.    

 

 You are getting old when the gleam in your

  eye is from the sun hitting your bifocals.

 

 Work  is the grand cure of all maladies

 that ever test mankind.   

 

 The wider our experience,   

 the deeper our toloreance. 

 

 At the back of every great fortune 

 lies a crime. 

 

 Nobody is despised  by other people

 unless he has first loss respect for himself.

 

 Cherish the past, adorn the present , 

  create for the future . 

 

 Those who rest on their laurels, find 

 themselves sitting on a thorn bush.

 

 Better a wise enemy than a foolish friend.

  of the crocodile will never gather pearls.

 

Any plan is bad which is not

susceptible to change.

 Make happy those who are near, and those that are far will come.

 

  Better to ask twice than to lose your way once.   

 

  If you chase two hares at the same time, you will catch neither of them.

 

 If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything

 

 Be your own palace, or the world is your jail 

 

 He who knows enough is enough will always have enough 

 

 To be a brave man, good and bad luck are like his right and left hand . He uses both.
