Mad Cow Riddle

Welcome to the Mad Cow Riddle!

This is not a complicated riddle. I'm no expert riddler, neither am I a techno-wizard. I've been playing with online riddles for some time now
(see my favourites below) and was inspired to have a go at my own. I hope it's a little light relief for hardened riddlers (*g*) and maybe an easier
starting point for any newbies.

You won't need any other programmes except for your web browser (this will probably display best in Firefox), and there may be clues in the
source from time to time.....

Usual rules apply - when you find the answer from a level, you need to change the url so it looks like this:

/kirtle/riddle/youranswerhere.htm

There are no capital letters or spaces in any of the answers, and you don't need to change folders at any point.

Some of my favourite riddles are:

Mystery Quest (also the URL levels and several other standalone quests) - this is the best forum based riddle around (imho)
Clever Waste of Time - definitely the best 'change the url' type riddle as far as I am concerned
