Kirk
About Kirk
Kirk is a one of a kind horse. He is a registered Thoroughbred with the Jockey Club as Mystery Knight, but is now affectionately called Kirk. He was foaled February 19, 1995 and just turned double digits (10) February of '05. Kirk is a 16.1h dark bay gelding with one white sock on his right hind. He is a doll and can be very lovey when he's in a good mood, but is pretty much a one person horse; he doesn't tend to show affection to anyone other than myself. Unfortunately, I do not own him (yet!) and have been leasing him since August 1, 2004 and plan to continue doing so until the owner is ready to sell. He can be moody, but will try his best for me and is very hard-working and responsive. As with all horses he does have his flaws, the most prominent one being his poor cribbing habit he picked up as a racehorse, but his good qualities exceed his not so good qualities, and overall he is a very good boy.
Here are some pictures of Kirk:
This picture was taken with a low-quality digital camera and did not come out very well, but you can get the general of idea of his comformation and build taken 3/05.

Here's a very cute picture of him snooping around. Taken summer '04.

Here are three of my favorites taken the summer of '04. The last one is Kirk performing what I like to call 'funny face'.

Here Kirk has just finished a workout in his brand-new pretty, white polo wraps, looking dressagey as ever. Again, taken with the low-quality digital camera 3/05.
