Gallery gets the thumbs up from the Arts Council.

King Street Gallery artists co-operative has been awarded the Collectorplan status by the Arts Council of Wales, joining Carmarthen’s prestigious Oriel Myrddin as the only other gallery in town to have had the same stamp of approval.

This latest exhibition will include the work of recent new members to the co-operative, who bring works in new media to include exquisitely turned walnut, maple, oak pieces by Alun Rees, and stained glass sculptures and window hangings by Janet Hardy. New paintings from Duncan Johnson and John Cackett, who are proving popular with the buyers, will hang alongsides established artist members of the gallery. .
