Eugh...a 3 month holiday is indeed turning out to be boring. In fact, so boring...my will to do anything has decided to go on it's own vacation and hasn't left anything that will hint at when it will coming back. Ah well, it happens.As for things that have happened since I last wrote something down, well, there's a fair few. First and foremost I'd like to introduce you all to the Hutch, a fellow Games Designer. Treat him nicely people...the last audience ended up all over the place. you can find what he says about himself in the "who are you" section. Also, due to this, the site's been re-contructed, with videos being split between Hutch and myself, along with seperate galleries where you can view both our works.What else...? Ah yes, the theme has changed again, hopefully for the last time. And before all of you decide to take what I've said before to heart I have indeed been working, although not as much as would have been liked (think of it as a consequence of sharing a room). Various things have been done, and I will post these things in the near future. I got my 8800! WOOOOOOO! My BESSY is now complete - first my desk, then the WORLD! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!Back in reality though, and guess what? I'm still working :(. But at least one of my assignments is out of the way, so no worries there; and judging by the way that the assignment I'm working on is going, I should be done and rendered before the deadline with time to spare (famous last words).Well, between this post and the last, BESSY has gone through a major overhaul, getting a new (another) CPU, Motherboard, DVD drive, RAM...everything (in fact only one of the harddrives from the original spec remains LOL). I've also managed to acquire a few classic PS1 games - but due to work can't play them (WAAA!). But seeming as my last deadline is two/three weeks away I think I can wait till then, cos it's 3-month holiday time! WOOO!Hopefully during this massive time off marathon I'll get some of my ideas on paper/screen, and get that blasted Blender tutorial archive done and dusted - again, famous last words. Chances are I'll probably hibernate, and in the process cover myself in a cacoon before emerging for the 2nd year at Uni...Well, bye again for another....(looks at watch)...month or so, but until then, enjoy this clip from one of my favorite shows:
Well, quite a few things have happened since I last posted (not all of which I'll mention).First of all: A new look! "Why?" I hear you ask? Because I wanted to. Simple.Second, I'm posting the pictures and otherworks from my Intro to 3D apps and Games Engines Assignments - just to spruce the place up a bit. It seems the lip-sync video doesn't want to work anymore so that will be removed (probably was in violation of several copyrights anyway LOL).In the real world however I've FINALLY managed to get my arse in gear and now work is starting to progress smoothly (YAY!). And I've decided - COKE BAD - so I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible nowadays. I gave up on STEAM and just installed Half Life 2 from disc and it took a further DAY in order for STEAM to make the whole thing work (how annoying, but at least the damn thing finally works).A nice influx of money has allowed me to purchase a new PSU (650W), CPU cooler and 120mm Fan - BESSY 616 was very happy (BESSY is my computer's name by the way, LOL). And now finally BESSY is quiet enough for me NOT to get annoyed with the computer being on for long periods of time. Soon - the new 8800 SHALL BE MINE MWHAHAHAHA!It may be a while til I write again - so in the meantime enjoy this nice "How to install Windows Vista in 2 mins" video. Very informative.
