This is a Roleplay inspired off of Tamora Pierce's Tortallan books. It is done by journals linked together by Numair. The journals provide for chatting and planning, and the seperate communities, which each have their own section on the side, are reserved that particular RP area. The OOC community is mainly for chatting, plot-planning, character building, or anything you feel like talking about.

To join, look to the navi-bar on how to do so. You can be either an original character, or a canon character. There is a list of those already takin'.

Plots

An empire outside of Tortall, Galla, Tyra, Scanra and Sarain, will be sending crusaders/missionaries of a monotheistic religion to explore the other side of the land mass. If there be civilization, they are to convert. No to long before, Jindhazen (OOC: Now known as Jindhy-poo or Jack), had met up with one party of these crusaders, and were brought back to that empire. There, Jack decided he will be willing to fly under their banner. Afterall, the Islands are now in alliance with Tortall, and he would need back up. Meanwhile, one crusader/missionary party, reach Tortall and Carthak. Missionaries to head north to Corus, and Crusaders down south to Carthak (This is where Sarai and Zaimid may come into play.) Meanwhile, the Kyprish Isles reamin unknown to the other Empire. Perhaps this is good thing, while Kyprioth schemes.

Now, the thing about the missionaries/crusaders... They are of the lower branch of society. A mixture of merchants, peasants, and homeless even. They haven't been treated well, to say the least, and are doing this to gain a couple of steps upwards. However, some few higher ranked did go. Though, when they reach the capitals, and after a long stay, the higher status (and some lower) wind up converting to our polytheistic religion. Well, most of them at least. The rest who didn't, sneak back to their Empire to share the news. Oops. He isn't very happy when the emperor learns of this new religion and deems is untrustworthy. So in other words, before engaging in war, he goes to meet these people, while sending assassains to kill to the ones who converted.

Meanwhile, Tortall is actually protecting them, as it is their job to protect foriegners with in their borders. And when the emperor returns home, he decides to send his fleet with Jack's and head out to attack Tortall, the Islands, and Carthak. He doesn't want to waste time on Galla, Tyra and Sarain. However, one little detail forgotten... the Copper Isles.

In the isles, Kyprioth schemes, and crop season is approaching. Uprisings of the luarin nobles will, with out a doubt, becoming more frequent. Little is known about what Kyprioth is doing, but we surely feel it.

Things in the Northern Border will seems as if it will slowly decrease. Until, Border duty is useless and needless. It will most likely shrink to nothing but soldiers and a few knights, if they wish, to stay. New Hope will still be up for emergencies. Of course, this hiatus is due to Jindhazen and contacting the other empire. Only when the empire attacks, the border shall be active once more. In case any forgot, this would be breaking the treaty.
