Site created - 23.4.06

Hello every one I'm kingcordia aka Rogercordia and also the cordia king, i have created this website so i can show the world  my unique powerfull mitsubishi cordia, i had 2 mitsubishi cordia turbo's so ill generally show and explain both of them. My red cordia is renown to go seriously quick down the quatre mile and basically im very proud of it because there is no other cordia that i know of that can go that quick with the same basic mods that this car has. THE WHITE CORDIA IS GONE, I SOLD IT.

My currant Red cordia has only basic necessaties of a turbo car, that is -

  • Intercooler
  • Blow off valve
  • Exhaust system

Aswell as just general components to make it ride to its potential and important visuals such as

  • Lowered
  • Boost gauge
  • boost controller

In comparison its like getting a swift - putting a

  •  1 3/4 exhuast system
  • K@N  filter
  • cold induction

Thats it, you inderstand what im getting at, just basic things to make it breath better. That is same concept of my cordias, i only have basic bits but it whoops ass. Time has changed since i added all this info because i had the dash engine of mine rebuilt and it contains new componants etc.

I built and designed a intercooler conversion that no other cordia has got, thats what's making them very powerful and very fast. Basically the car's boost response is far quicker than any other cordia with the conventional intercooling for a cordia. There are so many heavily modified cars my red and white cordia has beaten, here is a list of the cars i have under my belt.

  • Evo and Vr4 powered cordia's
  • Evo 6 and 7
  • Evo powerd lancer look a like
  • Nissan R32-R34 powered skylines
  • 200sx
  • Vx Clubsport
  • Nissan 180 sx
  • Toyota supra turbo
  • Nissan silvia
  • VL turbo
  • Type R integra
  • 5.7 litre chev ute
  • Modified Mitsubishi FTO
  • Mildly modified Galant vr4 4wd turbo
  • Cyborg mirage turbo
  • Honda Nsx

Those cars are just a bunch i could remember because i lost count.

I will be updating everything nearly everyday, of my cordia's so pop in and have a look, as you can have clear understanding about what's happening to my cordia's aswell as other updates like cruises and drag results.

Also i would like to mention to other cordia turbo owner's to take your cordia 's and put them to the test instead of just everyday driving, take em to the drags, see what it does. Cos from what i have seen and heard most of them are ALL TALK AND NO ACTION, some of them say they got  this many kilowatts and that many kilowats why dont they put their cars to the drags and race against me when i ask them to, cos theor chick. Driving a cordia on a road is only half the fun of what your cordia's can trully deliver, thats how i found.

I must say i have a bunch of people that are very crazy and jelous of my two cordia's,  things that make them angry because my cordia's are heaps quicker than there's, even though they have spent big bucks on there cordia's only for it to be whooped by my basic modified cordia with only basic necessaties of a turbo car.Ive beaten cars worth over $40,000 all with just a 22 year old car and with basic mods.

I just want to make it clear to those people that dont know much about cordia's, and its performance. i hope youse dont think that every cordia can do 13 or 14 seconds down the quatre mile, speaking in cordia terms, 13 and 14 seconds is very very fast, more faster than the ordinary cordia, most cordia's that you see on the road do like 15 16 and 17 seconds or more, remember my car was slow like this before.

Thats why i get so many critics because MOST of them dont believe that my car is doing those times with the basic parts the car has, compared to there cars and there modifications, i know id be very unhappy and angry if i just spent a few thousand dollar's on some modifications or even a vr4 conversion thinking that i will go very quick down the quater, but only for it to be whooped by a single cam 1.8 sirus cordia turbo engined car and a dash single cam engine.

I have many disbelievers, You know what i dont give a crap, im the one out there having fun, ive revolutionised cordia turbo performance by creating and making something that never has done before, its been 23 years in the making. To those people, NO i will not show how it looks like, cos if i do there would be hundreds of cordia's on the streets doing what im doing, plus ill get no aknowlegement. So its staying a secret.

To those people that are jelous of my cordias, get a life ,make some thing yourselves ,dont get pissed at me cos your cordia's arnt quick like mine, see if you got time, knowledge and patience to create something out of nowhere.

Just recently i have sold my white cordia turbo so basically i only have the Red cordia turbo now, ill be focusing on it for now on and i will be developing modifications and new things with it.

To those people that still dont like it, Well you CAN KISS MY CORDIA"S BACKSIDE

GUESTBOOK FEEDBACK WELCOME

5.June 2007

They are all talk and no action

  • I have acome across many individuals in real life and on computers via austomotive forums and areas like that, their is a high population of people that fail to understand the realities of what my cordia turbo can do, and when they do talk they are so wrong and explain untrue nonsense with what their trying to explain. So many people get in contact with me and try to debunk or diss my cordia and its power characteristsics

Out there, lots of them think that my cordia turbo is so crap and slow etc, well they dont know how wrong they are, they come to me via msn all the time and attempt to talk tough and smart, i just get so many individuals where i cant keep up, nearly all the time when i go online i get at most 9 convos at once, i go back and forward etc, just so busy with the amount of people comming to me, to either talk ood car talk or just talk plain silly and unmature, and play games. Most of them that do talk, try to explain how crap my cordia is etc, they say >

  • Its slow
  • Its a rust bucket
  • Their grannys can beat me in a race
  • Its ugly
  • They can beat me

Most of these individuals are located in dream world, reason being is that they can mention really shocking answers when i aske them stuff, like i question all these people as my normal operating procedures about their cars, i ask them simple questions that i will benefit knowing, cos this will make me determin whio is worth speaking to and who is worth blocking  and or ignoring. Questions i ask are basic and some examples are as follows >

  • What do they drive
  • What mods does the car have
  • How many times have they drag raced
  • How many times they dynoed their cars
  • How mnay times did they circuit race

These are my basic principals and questions i ask them, but when it comes to getting the answers, most but not all would say >

  • They never did the 1/4 mile
  • Never dynoed their cars
  • Also have slow to mild modded cars
  • Some have n/a powered cars
  • Some dont even say anything

They just waste my time, cos they have no idea OR EXPEIRENCE that is better than me, they are all keyboard warriors and are unskilled when it comes to working with cars or getting there cars out their. At first, i listen to them, i answer their reasonable questions, than when it comes my turn i try to get info myself to see if their talking truth or nonsense.

I HAVE DONE OVER 110 DRAG STRIP PASSES combining my previous white cordia and my red cordia, so basically when i get all these wannabe's fast car drivers and contemplating to race me, they got to earn respect and klnowledge before they ever get the opportunity to race my cordia. Im the expert, they are the novice drivers.

I have been offered the opportuinty by many people in forums to race them, they ask me to meet up in places around west sydney and do street drags, but the thing about this is that I DONT race in organised street racing meets, if anybody wants to race me they can do it at the drags. Im not gonna race my full on monster cordia on the street on high boost etc.

Lots have come to me and mentioned that their cars can beat me in a race, such cars mentioned by people included many low performing cars, like why even waste my precious time even wanting to participate. Some people out there are new to turbo cars and when they hear about my cordia and what other people say they instantly think that they can beat me in a race, well they are so wrong.

Some people do have cars that are modified and all, like i get heaps of turbo car owners, etc, but fact is, i could beat nearly like 95% of those peoples cars.

Yes you better belive it, i almost done a vr4 conversion myself.

In the beginning of time when i first got my white cordia i enjoyed the power it was making cos it was my first ever efi turbo car. in time i researched the web for info in what to do as a perfect power increase, so i got valuable infomation from www.cordiaturbo.com  and learnt that the VR4 engine conversion is the most popular conversion.

At the time my white cordia was doing mid 15 seconds all the time and i thought to myself there is no way it would go any quicker, you kinow what i did, after hearing about how good a 2 litre is, i indeed bought a 2 litre block from a popular wreaker here in sydney, it was a g63 turbo engine that was in a cordia, the head was gone and only the short block remained, so i bought it, and for it to be ready i needed to find a head to suite, plus it needed a rebuild cos the bores had been exposed to the atmosphere and there was surface rust.

I got quotes to rebuild the block, and my intention was to put it in my white cordia, which i had only at the time, cos i said to myself, it must be a good increase in power with 2 litre big block style engine, changed plans, im putting the single cam 2 litre engine on hold for the moment. Than i saw that the vr4 engine is the 1 to get for immediate power. So i rang a few places for quotes from import wreakers and thses are the quotes i got

  • $2700 - Front cut
  • $2500 - Front cut
  • $1850 - Front cut

I also found the mother of all twin cam engines, it was a EVO RS version front cut and i was quoted

  • $4000 - Front cut.

That would've be the ultimate twin cam 2 litre engine to put in my cordia, i couldve got it, i decided very badly cos it was fresh from Japan with only 40,000kms on it, so it was very good. But after alot of hard thinking i just wanted the original twincam VR4 engine.

I just done a little estimate what things woukld cost to do the conversion. i came up with this.

  • Vr4 front cut - $1850 - $2500
  • Heavy duty clutch to suite - $550
  • 3 inch exhaust system - $700
  • Aftermarket computer - $2500 - supply and fit
  • Intercooler  work - $500 plus
  • Machine flywheel - $35
  • fuel pump upgrade and other bits - $300

So as you can see this is the rought quote to the things ill have to spend in order for it to be complete, these quotes are from people i rang . For example i got a quote for a intercooler conversion NO JOKE $2500 for a big front mount, and for a 3 inch madrel exhuast i was quoted NO JOKE $2700.

So overall i would spend like $7085 on the conversion, i got quoted from 2 popular performance workshops around $6500 and onwards to do the conversion, drive in drive out.

So gathering all that i said FARK thats alot of money for just a twin cam engine with only 150kws to deliver. So after this stage i did abit more research and homework on my 1.8 litre white cordia turbo, so as you see my car now is a 14.1 second car and it is capable of doing 13 seconds really soon. The vr4 powerd cordias ive seen and heard of in the past in mild state of tune, can roughly do mid 14 seconds.

Now if you ask me can you see what that would be like. You spend at least EASY $ 5000 and you instantly think , the vr4 engine in my cordia will be so quick, well what do you reckon youll feel if you just spent that much, plus more money and only to be cained by a single cam 1.8  and 2 litre engine cordia. Im telling the facts and that is reality, ive seen it happen, ive done it myself at the drags and on the street.

  • Alot of people think that if they drop a vr4 in a cordia they think there car would do instanly 8 seconds quater mile, Im being sarcastic, but its true, Now after i have learnt, people think that the vr4 engine is the best engine to put in a cordia for INSTANT power, well its not the case.
  • You see, i stopped myself from going the vr4 route and i just focused on how to make my single cam cordias come to life, well i have, ah ha ha, i didnt spend thousands of dollars on a vr4 conversion. Lucky me.

I would be pissed like hell if i just spent all that money to go down the drain.

CONCLUSION - As you seen and read i was once too a vr4 beliver, but after doing hard research and doing practical experiments on a single cam engine and trying new things, alot of power and performance can be extracted from these single cam engines, allot of people INCLUDING MYSELF think that it would be a waste of money spending on a single cam engine,  in the past at first under rated and underestimated the power and performance of a single cam sirus 1.8 litre engine. I just need to let people know before they spend the money on a vr4 conversion, they need to spend more time on there single cams.

To this date both my single cam cordias are

  • factory computers
  • factory ignitions
  • factory turbos
  • no porting
  • No hiflows
  • no aftermarket fuel pumps
  • No 3rd injectors
  • No cam upgrades.

What they have is these

  • Heavy duty clutches
  • Blow off valves
  • 1 cordia is not intercooled
  • 2.5 inch exhuast systems, 1 has the 2.5 inch dump pipe, the other hasnt.
  • Boost controllers

Hmmm thats about it, well as of this week my red cordia's engine is a rebuilt item.

These are the quatre mile times for cordias with these engines.

  • 1.8 sirus simple cordia engine - 15.9 seconds
  • 1.8 unleaded cordia engine - 16.9 seconds>>>>> This is what my 1.8 is, unleaded engine.
  • 2.0 sirus simple cordia engine -15.5 seconds
  • Plain and simple vr4 conversion cordia - 0 - 400 meters = mid 14 seconds
  • Mildly worked vr4 powerd cordia - 0 -400 meters = Low 14 seconds seconds
  • Ecu/turbo/frontmount- VR4 engine - high 13 seconds.
  • ADD $ 5000 extra on top of the price of a complete vr4 conversion to do = 12 seconds.

Allot of money is needed to be spent on a vr4 engine to come alive and having it peforming really strong.

My single cam cordias -

  • Cyclone dash 2 liter single cam engine - 0 -400 metres = 13.733
  • g62 Sirus 1.8 engine - 0 - 400 metres = 14.132 seconds

My cordias have done those times with wheelspin still in 1st and 2nd gear at roughly 17 psi.

STILL WITH THE FACTORY HIGHLY RESTRICTIVE AIR FLOW METER, Id like to see another cordia doing those times still with the factory afm, i havent seen till this DATE.

DONT UNDER ESTIMATE THE POWER OF A SINGLE CAM.
