Ash+May= Love
Why Advanceshipping?
Of all shippings why did I choose to become a supporter of Advanceshipping?
There are many answers to that actually. I can tell you now that I am a hardcore fan of Ash and May's love.
I like advanceshipping for many, many reasons. One is that they are just two peas in a pod. They're the perfect combo. ^_^
Also the fact that they stand next to each other in almost all episodes. It's not like I'm saying, "OMG! They're standing next to each other!! They are soooo in love!!". That is not where I'm getting at. It's like this, seeing how they stand next to each other quite often, they obviously like the company of each other. They make a perfect team, the way they battled against Team rocket in The Bicker the better is enough to prove that. May pointed out in Hokey Pokeballs how their Bulbasaur's made such a good team and the way she told Ash that seemed like she was really wanting to impress him in a way. Even saying there names together sounds great: Ash and May. Now doesn't that sound like the perfect couple ever? I'll say..err type it again: Ash and May... Ah...
Ash saves May from time to time and when he does it's so cute. =3 May is happy to have a guy like Ash in her life who's there for her. She looks up to him. I remember an episode where May wanted to find a boat, for Ash wanted to get to Dewford for his gym battle and she was determined to find one...just for him. It wasn't very nice for Ash to yell at her when she was trying to brighten up the cloudiness of having to wait for the next boat. She was trying to help. But you know how Ash is when it comes to gym battles. May always looks to Ash for encouragement and Ash always gives it to her. They should just get together already. They are the perfect match. I bet if they took a match maker quiz it would defiantly lead them to each other.
It's funny how May teases Ash about love sometimes. Some non-advanceshippers think that if she can tease him about love, then obviously she doesn't have a crush on him. I think that's bogis.
Maybe she just teases him to test the waters....
May just seems like the perfect girl for Ash, she has many similarities to him.Opposites attract, hm? Pfft, whatever. They are sure to get along very well and have a rather health, happy and loving relationship.I like the fact that they both have some sort of head gear and gloves. =3 That makes them even more similar. They even have similar Pokemon. May's Bulbasaur and Ash's Bulbasaur seem cute together too. They ALSO make a great team. And they are currently with each other at Prof. Oak's lab. That heart on May's Bulbasaurs head is simply adorable.
Sure, everyone knows that Ash isn't the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to love, but it seems that he has matured slightly in the AG series. Who knows maybe he'll realize what love is one day and perhaps show some feelings for May.
What can I say?
May with Ash, Ash with May, is obviously the best couple to ever come to fandom.
Advanceshipping is a very wonderful ship. Ash and May get along very well. Did you notice that Ash and Misty always argued and never had a decent apology...ever? That apology in The Bicker The Better shows plenty of possibility that Ash and May see more in each other then just friendship. I mean just look at those expressions on their faces!!! Now, did Ash ever have a moment like that with Misty? No. Dawn? Well, not yet and hopefully not ever.
So I conclude, Ash and May... best couple ever. Well, in my humble opinion anyway. :)
Advanceshipping seems to be the only anime ship that I'm a HUGE support of, and I'm downright proud of it. In fact, I'll still be loyal to it even if it doesn't happen. Go ahead and say it. I'm obsessed. Maybe even a little bit crazy.
