The Killer Whale Dancers came together first in 1994 as a part of a major culture explosion, Albert Bolton's Memorial Potlatch ( yaawk). Since 94 it had remained somewhat dormant till it's Current Leaders had decided to bring it  together, the  dance group was once more in 1997. Along with new songs and dances the Killer Whale Dancers had also included other Clans (Eagles - Laxkkiik, Ravens - Ganhada, and Wolves -  Laxgibuu) to honor their fathers who are of the Killer Whale Clan or Dance along with their Husbands, Wives , and/or Children Since it's Inception in 1997 The Killer Whale Dancers were given New songs and dances and also in 2004 have added mask dances as well as bringing back it's original entrance song from 1994 to use as an Outside song. This was the First ever song written for the Killer Whales and it was Written By Wayne Hewson , other songs were added by Melody Leask and later on by David J. Nelson III and  Killer Whale Dance Group was given permission to bring back a The Ts'msyen Entrance Written by Mr Gary Wells of Lax³guaams while  in Prince Rupert B.C. Canada in 2004 at the Tsm'syen Day celebration. Other songs gifted to the dance group by David Albert Boxley (Killer Whale Song,Metlakatla) David Robert Boxley ( Lukwil Ts'msyen) Micheal D'angeli (Eagle song gifted to David J Nelson III) as well as Denise Doolan ( Reshea Doolans song)
