"UTC" Season 1
Hello everyone out there in Forza land and tournament country, i would like to introduce myself for those of you who don't know me (I am SP33D RAC3R 28x) and i would like to offer an invitation to anyone looking for a fun, competitive, team oriented racing program. Come and join me in a venture that will be astounding to say the least. You will find the rules below, they may seem simple but i assure you they are effective. If you have any questions, please voice your concerns in the forums and i will respond to any questions as soon as i possibly can. (Main rules are highlighted in light blue and concerns about these rules are highlighted in dark blue)
I will update this post with answers to any questions posted.
Updates will be in PINK
RULES:
1. The Format will see "2-man teams"
You must pick a teamate before the season starts and the 2 of you will be together or the remainder of the season.
Substitutes will be allowed but any substitute will follow the given rules for the teamate they sub for. I must be informed if the origional partner will be dropping out and the sub decides to finish the season out.
Late entries are allowed and welcome, you will just be at a points defecit.
2. The cars witch will be eligible will be "R4 Class" and "B Class".
B Class cars will be front wheel drive only.
Any cars you can build to make it to "B Class" are ok to use.
Any "R4" cars are ok to use.
3. Each team memeber must race 1/2 the races in an "R4" and 1/2 the races in a "B Class" .
It does not have to be the 1st 1/2 in 1 class and 2nd 1/2 in the other. it can be "every other week", you can switch classes or however you feel like running it.
4. Both team members cannot drive the same class car on the same week.
Each week, each team will have 1 "R4" car and 1 "B Class" car running.
"R4's" and "B Class" cars will be run in seperate rooms.
5. No Car can be Duplicated within your team.
If 1 team member wants to run the "R4" Cadillac, that car will be locked for your team for the rest of the season. the same goes for every other car (including "B Class").
6. Each competitor is allowed 1 "dropped" race.
If someone does not show, that "0" just gets "dropped".
If you show up for every race, your worst finish of the season will be dropped.
Points will be distributed to each team member each week, and the total of the 2 members' points determines you "team's points"
Individual points do not matter, just the acumulated points of the 2 competitors.
If a team has a "no-show" from each teamate on different races, the points the "show ups" get will be put together from the different weeks to make a full week's score.

Rules of the Road
Under no circumstances are you to intentionally make any contact with the other car you are racing against.
Rule on Passing: The responsibility of the pass is on the passing car and driver. The car being passed should not, in most cases, move off their racing line but please do give room if another car is attempting to pass.
If you rear-end your opponent while braking hard into a corner because you are too close to him, it is your fault and you must let him re-gain his position.
If you "brake check" your opponent by purposely slamming on the brakes in order to damage his car or create a "get away gap" for any reason, you will be penalised or disqualified if deemed serious enough.
If you are two-wide going into a turn, please allow "track room" for your opponent to keep all four wheels on the track.
If you attempt to dive down underneath your opponent on his inside, and use your opponents car as a guardrail to hold your line, you will risk being disqualified or penalised.
"Closing the door" is fine, as long as the other cars position is not already established in the corner. That is, you can cut in front of someone from the outside to the inside of a corner as long as you make no contact.
On the issue of cutting corners, short cutting the track, or "wall braking", it is not allowed. You will be DNF'd for cheating of any kind, and banned from competing in any form or organised racing, for life....yes you will be "Black Listed"
Please understand, this series is still just for the fun of the game. Anyone who would take away from the fun factor, by reckless driving, bashing, pushing, short cutting, blocking, running the series down, and general poor sportsmanship, does not deserve to be a part of this series and should go somewhere else to race.
The "standard rule" for this series is that if some one does bash you off the road by accident or otherwise, they are to wait for you and allow you to recover the position they took from you. If they do not, they risk a black flag DNF.
Matters of this sort MAY be settled on the track depending on the situation. generally the people involved in the accident will be taken to the same track and run the same race against each other and only have the oppertunity to gain the higher of thier finishing positions.
ie. if the 3rd and 4th place finishers have a dispute they would re-run thier race with an official present and they will be racing for the 3rd place finishing position.
