'Millie' - Aust. Ch. Kalina Fair Fusha  31/12/90 - 11/8/02

Millie was the ultimate show girl, the ultimate pet and to me exactly what a Samoyed should be. She was such a gorgeous girl with excellent confirmation, beautiful head, and an absolutely super personality with that air of aristocracy - a queen indeed.

Millie lived until she was 12.5 years of age and it was never going to be long enough. To this day I feel a massive hole in my heart and miss her dreadfully. It was for many an hour that Millie and I just sat together.  She helped me through some hard times; unfortunately Millie was lost at one of the worst times in my life and she wasn't there to see me come through it... So Millie, I made it - and I still miss you like you wouldn't believe!

It is Millie's special looks and confirmation, and her character and nature that I now strive for when breeding. Millie was something very special indeed and I feel blessed to have had her from the day she was born, until the day she died.

More about Millie......

Millie at the Rescue:

Millie saved her niece's life (Del - Ch Kalina Silver Rishna).  Millie in full coat swam into the middle of a large dam and herded a 6 month old struggling/gasping Del back to the shore.  All this from a bitch who absolutely detested swimming. It was something that will stay with me forever.

Millie the Peace-maker

Millie was  the peacemaker in our family through my teenage years and early adulthood!  Any sign of tension in my voice, she would do a 'stress monitoring bark' until the 'conflict' stopped; she was also the 'swearword' monitor in our household for that matter.  Millie was a very diligent, responsible family member!

We are lucky to have 'Maddie' who was the sole member of Millie's final litter at the age of 9 years.

Millie's Mum Sasha (Ajana Lady Jane)  litter sister to the simply beautiful  Aust. Ch. Ajana Leila Lou - a multiple Gold Cup Winner with the Samoyed Club of Victoria.
