Kietra Samoyeds is a small home-based breeding kennel. Our dogs are primarily our pets, but we also enjoy breeding and showing. We are located in the beautiful Kelmscott Hills, in Perth, Western Australia on half an acre. It is here that I live with my husband, Phillip and my two beautiful boys, Matthew 3.5years and Daniel coming up to 2 years. Puppies we breed are raised in a loving family environment, with children and cats.
I registered my breeding prefix in 1996, however have been involved extensively with the Samoyed breed since 1989.
It was in 1989 where I began my love for Samoyeds ; I began to agist my horse at 'Kalina Kennels' in North Ringwood, Victoria. Yvonne Sydenham-Clarke's beautiful Samoyeds used to run in the paddock with my horse 'Ben'. Subsequently, at the age of 14 I began to work at Kalina Kennels as a kennel maid on the weekends and after school where my love for the breed became cemented. I finally convinced my parents to let me have a rescue Samoyed called Sasha who was 3 years old and happened to be 'Ajana Lady Jane' - sister to the beautiful multiple gold cup winner 'Ch Ajana Leila Lou'. Although not as pretty as her sister, we were lucky to have Sasha produce our gorgeous girl Millie known as - Ch Kalina Fair Fusha Millie is the mother to our current girl 'Maddie'. It is Millie's whole package of strong, typical Samoyed looks and beauty; her soundness; and her happy, strong, bossy personality for which I now strive to achieve in my breeding.
