Football in the Bulgarian community

Welcome to the home page of our site!  I hope that you find your way around the site, and if you think it can be improved please let us know.

This is a site entirely dedicated to raising awareness to the lack of funding and accessibility for kids in Bulgaria to play football. We started the football training club in May 2007 and it has continued to become popular and grow in numbers. 

The kids of Krumovo have proved to us that there is a real need for football in the community as they are very keen to play and if given the chance would play every day.  It is not just the kids in our area of Bulgaria who want to play.  We have been approached by other villages too but like Krumovo they do not have the facilities to offer the game. Every village has a pitch but its usually overgrown and is most likely used as grazing for donkeys and sheep!  So we want to bring football to these other villages and hopefully with some interaction between ourselves, the village mayor (Kmet), the community and the municipality this is what we will achieve. 

We have made some video footage and added some pictures for you to enjoy, and we hope you can tell from these just how much the kids love the game and benefit from having the opportunity to play it.
