On the way down to The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California I was getting very happy and very excited to see Jordan Knight. In fact I was so excited that I was yelling at all the slow trafic to go away. Well, can you blame me. It was supposed to take only two hours to get there and it took us four. Of course, my husband was thinking, girl, chill, get a life! And I'm thinking, wait a minute, we're talking about Jordan Knight here. We have to get there, now! Well, we finally got there and found the place. I thought for a second that my brother was working at the ticket booth, but it wasn't him. Me, my husband and daughter Crystal went inside and got our table and ordered food. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad and my 4 year old daughter ordered the veggie plate. Then we sat around and waited for the concert to start, which started late. Finally, Chad came out. He introduced Bryan Abrams. Bryan Abrams performed, then he went upstairs. I had a bad incident and had to leave for a bit and came back toward the end of Jeff Timmons' performance. I was feeling pretty down and depressed until Jordan Knight came out on stage. Man, he was hot!
He sung a lot of New Kids songs, like I'll Be Loving You Forever, You Got It, The Right Stuff, Step ByStep, Hangin' Tough, This One's For The Children and a few other New Kids songs. He also sang Give It To You from his first solo album. He sang The Fix, Keep It On The Sly, Where Is Your Heart Tonight, and Don't Cry from his new album. He did a wonderful job and drove all the girls crazy! Then it was time for the meet and greet. Everybody from the meet and greet had to go upstairs, except for us so we waited for all the others to go up so that Jordan and Jeff Timmons could come down and have their pictures taken with us. I was in a wheelchair, so I couldn't go upstairs. Jordan and Jeff were very nice and very sweet. Jordan mentioned how his son had very similar shoes to my daughter's because they light up. Jordan and my husband were trying to get them to light up, but they wouldn't light up. It came time to have the picture taken. Jordan put his hand on my arm and I thought that I had died and gone to heaven. We stood around and talked for a while. Jordan mentioned what a wonderful daughter we had. We then headed home and I was in heaven all the way home. All of this took place on December 16, 2005. Thank you Jordan for all the wonderful memories that you have given me! I will treasure them all the rest of my life. Keep smiling Jordan.
