Coalition Of NTT Contenders

In the beginning-season 41,
The Coalition of NTT Contenders started from humble beginnings. As with most things, an Idea, stolen from others with delusions of grandure. Coach Rushmeadow was frustrated with the dominance of a group (OUC) of 16 great teams. He watched as they enjoyed good fun and an active game community while others struggled to plug away at the weekly grind. Growing envious of the OUC's obvious success and seeking to further his enjoyment of the drive the lane game experience. Asking permission to join in fun with the OUC, he was denied access and put on a waiting list. Growing impatient desiring the opportunity to play this game to the fullest he put a plan into action.
Using a catchy title on the games Messageboard "Creating a Rivalry to the OUC". In this first posting, introducing himself, stating his intention, pleading his case and revealing to all in League #1 where he hoped the group would go.
The Idea took off! In a few days others began to join the group. In a two week period the group became 4 strong, at seasons end there were 6 teams in the group and that group became............. CONC.
The original 6 teams were, in order of time served:

Coach Rushmeadow(Rush) - Kalamazoo Worms
Coach Handshobby(Hobby) - Cincinnati Train Hoppers
Coach Mbahamoute(Mbah) - Alexandria The Great Wonders
Coach Kicknback(Kick) - Seattle Running Outlaws
Coach Laker - Cheyenne Havoc
Coach Marlmeadow - St.Petersburg Smoke

During the first half season together the members started with establishing a name for the group. Which lead to a growing pride and fellowship. These 6 members established a new home thread on the Messageboard with individual game commentary from all coaches, Standings with League Rankings, Game predictions "Friday Night Lights", a Preseason/Out of Conference Schedule Installed and a Mid Season/Final Season Report including: Coach of the Year (COY), Player of the Year(POY), All-CONC First and Second Team selections, All-CONC Rookie Team.
A huge amount of time and energy went into building a solid foundation from which to build a strong core for the group. Going into a new season, with all members of CONC excited about the game again and having fun. With their efforts recognized, the next and first full season 6 new teams quickly joined the CONC ranks. These newest members came from a variety of different sources, friends and family members of the original 6, other League #1 teams and defectors from the OUC itself.

CONC Membership now stands at 12 with the addition of:

Coach Gateway - Vicksburg Armageddon
Coach gbaber - Hershey Hogs
Coach Kevin - Evansville Krushers
Coach wilduck - Aberdeen Donkeys
Coach duckfever - Stamford Apple Farmers
Coach jpmile - Mesa Undertakers

With the new explosion of talented teams, CONC looks to set a great example for friendship/sportsmanship in the game community while establishing itself as a powerhouse organization in League #1. Growing pains will try to test the friendships created, but the members aren't resting on their past hard work. The group continues to advance with new ideas ,such as this website.
From  the humble beginnings(an idea), to a growing membership, the future looks bright for CONC and its growing rivalry with the OUC. Let the quest begin for CONC's first ever NTT title.
