We are suitated in Mataura in Southland, New Zealand. Our population is approx 900 and our whanau work mainly at the local Freezing works or in the shearing gangs in the town.
Our kohanga is suitated at the Local Marae, but will shortly re-locate, as we are building a complete new kohanga.
We like all the other kohanga in New Zealand are under the umbrella of Te Kohanga Reo Trust Board which is based in Wellington, they ensure that we follow the guidelines and regulations in Te Korowai and Te Whariki
