I/KG26

This site is a basic primary contact for pilots interested in joining the I/KG26 or those just interested in having a look around, there are links here to other sites related to the I/KG26 flight group. From here you can get all the information you need for contacting the group and applying for membership.

Most of us originating from CFS1/CFS2/CFS3/IL2/IL2FB combat simulators, and FS98/FS2000/FS2002/FS2004 flight simulators, have been flying together for many years.

As a mixed bunch of pilots we all have different races religions and opinions but one common theme runs through all of us and thats our love of flight simming and a respect for the community we fly in. We encourage flying all aircraft avaliable except for controlled flights and missions when flown.

Currently we are active in IL2 Forgotten Battles flying under the I/KG26 using the Hyperlobby as a means of hosting and joining missions, we have a very relaxed chain of comand, if one at all, but basically you are expected to learn how to control a flight of AI aircraft to keep them in formation to target and respond to your commands, and to fly information with virtual pilots egressing to target and using the bombsite attack as instructed. You will find theres no end of help from us in assisting you on the best way to get your bomber to perform, and set up.

You will find missions to download and practise bombing and these missions will show you we dont just fly the He111, as the Stuka & Bf110 are our secondary bombing platforms, you will learn how to use these sturdy workhorses to thier full potential destroying targets and getting home safe. Missions are to be  updated monthly so check here for new ones regularly.
