3Bs Soul Club and Mothafunkaz @ Stafford Rangers FC
Situated just to the north of Stafford town centre within 5mins of Junction14 off the M6, the Rangers is a well appointed single storey building contaning 2 function rooms and has a large car park. Usually on the first Saturday of every month the largest of the two rooms is hosted to the 3Bs Soul Club.
Promoted by Kev (Shute) Johns and John Fisher, the event which was started in August 2004 has now become an integral part of the Staffs/West Midlands soul calander. The room has a wall to wall wooden dance floor with a bar at one end and a raised stage at the other.
Although it has never been a lock out (capacity of around 300) you are advised to be early as the night does get very busy. As with all Staff Soul Society events, the music policy at the 3Bs Soul Club id right across the board with the emphisis on quality.
Guest DJ's that have appeared to date include :- Soul Sam, Ginger Taylor, Sean Chapman, Rob Kay, Ted Massey, Nige Brown, Dave Thorly, Carl & Maria Willington, who are regular and welcomed visitors to the club.
