Welcome to Ketland Stud the home of the Giant Rabbit

Ketland Stud consists of myself Keely, my husband Gareth and our daughter Amber. We are hobbist breeders of Giant Rabbits. We exhibit our wonderful rabbits at shows all over the North West. We are members of the British Rabbit Council as well as numerous show clubs
Giants rabbits make fantastic pets they are very affectionate and they love attention and will happily follow you around nudging you for a head rub. Giants are not an aggressive breed and they make the perfect addition to any family, they are easy to litter train so they are the perfect house bunny. Younger children would need help to carry them as they can reach weight of more than 25lbs. We aim to breed our rabbits to as close to the BRC standard as possible.
Please have a look around my website and feel free to contact me with any questions you may have

The British Giant was developed in the 1940s from coloured strains of the Flemish Giant in the United States, unlike the Flemish Giant, the British Giant can be Black, Red Eyed White, Blue Eyed White, Brown-Grey, Blue and Steel.
British Giants should have a completely flat back when lying down, there ears should be no longer than 7.5 inches and the coat should be very dense and feel very thick. They have a brood head and be well muscled.

British Giants are a very curious breed, if you leave a cupboard open they will be in it!!! if they see a table they will be on it!!! They love company and thrive on attention.
All of our Giants are reared around children and other animals, they are very hardy and used to being handled. I start handling my babies from the moment they open their eyes, I start with just placing my hand near the nest and over time allow the build up their confidence with me.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to send them to me, I would love to hear from you, or you can subscribe to my site with the form below to receive details of any site and litter updates
