Dearest Grandmama

I am writing to be thanking you for the most lovely wedding gift you did be sending to my lovely Del and myself in celebration of our marriage.  It was most unnecessary as you did be giving me your engagement ring, which I did be giving to the beautiful woman with hair alike the sun, just as you predicted.  My Del and I have been most delightfully happy together and upon returning from our honeymoon have been settling most comfortably into married life.

I had been being slightly concerned upon our honeymoon that my Del had acquired a virus or some other illness, as she was much sick while we were gone but upon returning she continued to make frequent visits to the lavatory.

I did be suspecting that this was not a virus of the most ordinary sort and was indeed something entirely quite different.  I did not be inquiring about this to Del as I knew, since she was of the female variety, that she would be telling me in time and would take much joy in revealing to me...

That she was soon to be having a child.

I was most excited to be learning that my Del was with child and that our family soon would to be expanding.

My sheep which is probably a sheepsdog, Leicester, was not as much amused at this revelation.

But perhaps was to be because he and Romney were to be having lambs... er... puppies... er... small fuzzy offsprings of their own.

Of course, the news that our comfortable family was to be growing larger did be worrying upon my mind, as I knew in many ways we were perhaps not as prepared for such inevitableness as we should be.

My Del assured me that everything was most fine and all would be working out in the end.

Even so, there was one issue I was to be being concerned about, so after receiving a most unexpected promotion at my place of working (I am now Joe, the tracker of whales!)

I did be calling up the kindly Rom from whom I did purchase my wagonhome.  I explained unto him that I had of late been marrying and that a new child was to be expanding our household.  The lovely wagonhome which I did purchase from him would soon be perhaps too small for our larger household and did he perhaps have another wagonhome which we could be purchasing.

He did indeed have another wagonhome of the smaller size, which he arranged to be connected to our main home to provide a nursery for the son or daughter who would soon to be joining us.

Life was most good once again, and my Del and I were happy in the most delighted way.

Then one evening as I was outside supervising the interactions between one of the neighboring wolves and my sheeps which are probably sheepsdogs...

My beloved Del did scream most shrilly from our kitchen.
