Dear Cousin YulianaI am emailing you to be letting you know that Magda and Martine are on their way back home. They did be having a wonderful time here, and we are most happy they did visit us. I think that by the end of summer they were getting to be a tad homesick, however, and no doubt will be most glad to see you.Did you be getting the postcards they mailed to you earlier in the summer? Magda picked out a few while we were visiting the nearby University and mailed them from Baskerville's own post office. The University officials there did say that if Magda and Martine be keeping their studies strong and display a good work ethic, they would be most willing to provide financial assistance to allow them to travel here and study their degree. Martine did select some postcards when we taking a visit to one of the local beaches. I will be attaching some images from that trip later in the emailMagda and Martine are the most lovely of children and were always most eager to be helping around the house. Though I am most loath to be admitting, Martine is much more talented with the repairing of things than my own son. Hah, I joke. But indeed, Martine lent his hand at repairing a number of broken items about our home. Magda often helped out with keeping the house clean and cooking for us all, which my Del -- being with child again -- did appreciate greatly.Oleksandr and Lulzipawp welcomed their cousins most happily. Oleksandr may not seem like the most gregarious of boys at the first glance, but he did most enjoy spending time with his cousins during their visit. As for my dear daughter Lulzipawp...I am slightly concerned that she and Martine may be having interests beyond the friendship variety. Now, neither of us are not one to be telling our childrens who they should be liking or disliking, and Lulzipawp and Martine are cousins of the third or fourth descent so it is not as if their blood is closely related. I had however been hoping for my daughters to show some interest in the furthering of their education and career, rather than pursuing interests of the heart. I am certain you do be wishing for Martine to be developing a strong work ethic (unlike his father) as well, instead of spending his time wooing of the ladies. Still, this may be being only the puppy love and fade soon after Martine returns home.Oleksandr does seem to be having his own opinion on the matter as well. For all his grumping, he is most caring about his sister. My Del and I were most delighted to have Magda and Martine with us for the summer. They did be fitting in as if they were two of our own childrens. Albeit one of our sloppier childrens, in Martine's case.Martine was often playing with the younger childrens and talking with them about many things. And Magda and Lulzipawp quickly did become the bestest of friends. I do be thinking that my daughter greatly enjoyed having a friend close to her in age.On Saturdays, our local alley of bowling often hosts a teen day. Oleksander, Lulzipawp, Magda, and Martine went down one afternoon to be spending time with their peers.Martine, it would seem, has been taking lessons from my eldest on how to be interacting with others of his age group *sigh*Of course, my lovely Del has already described my son as "being quite full of himself" so I should not be being surprised at his antics as well. When they did return, Lulzipawp said they had a most fun time with the throwing of balls and meetings of new peoples. Well... almost everyone had fun, so I hear.As I did be mentioning earlier in my mail, on one of the sunny days of the summer we did spend time at one of our local public beaches in BaskervilleLulzipawp and Martine took great enjoyment in building sandcastles along the shore (and most likely took enjoyment in other things as well)Onastacia's dear friend Daffodil was at the beach as well, and she and Onastacia did spend many hours pushing each other upon the swingsKristof had to be scolded many times to stay off of the hammocks, lest he fall out and break something. It should be coming as no surprise that he continued to play on them. And my Del and I.... well... we did find a way to be passing the time.As the afternoon did tick by, Lulzipawp and Oleksandr took over the limbo set which was set up near the beach office. It did take Martine several tries, but he was soon able to maneuver beneath the bar without issue. My Del went on to perform with the bar with great ease, despite being with child.I, however, encountered several difficulties with trying to pass beneath the low hanging bar. After the fourth or fifth time knocking it to the ground, my family grew bored and did stop laughing at me.As the night fell upon us, another beach-goer was generous and grilled a dinner of wieners and hamburgers for everyone there.Afterwards, we gathered around a campfire to be toasting marshmallows and making some-mores.Onastacia was sadly unable to properly toast one, and rendered several marshmallows into unpalatable ash. She did insist upon eating them, however. As the fire did burn low, we gathered around as my Del told the lovely Dragon Legend we did learn while traveling in Takemizu on our honeymoon. When she had finished the story, we said good bye to those we had met while at the beach and did be returning home. The venture to the beach was our last big family outing of the summer, and before long the time did come around for Magda and Martine to be returning home. We did all travel to the station to see them off. Some members of our family were quite sad to see Magda and Martine leave, but yet also excited to be hearing about their journey home. Others... could not be caring less whether their cousins stayed or went.My Del and I waited until just before their train was ready to board to be saying our good byes. My Del was quite sad to see them go, as she had come to be seeing them as but two more of her own children. But then, our family will be growing again in a few short months, so I think she will soon be too busy to be missing them muchly.Magda and Martine's train did get underway without delay or problem, and with luck they will not be encountering difficulties with any of their flights either. I am certain you will be contacting us shortly after they arrive to be letting us know all is well.I do hope everything has worked out for you with the divorcing of Otto. From what my sisters have been telling me, he is most afeared to even show his face once more within the village, lest he be arrested for failure to provide support. Now that all is settled, with luck true love will be finding its way to you.Take care cousin, and give my love to the family when next you see them.
