Keth's Corner

Dear Mama

I am just writing to be catching you up on how my family is faring and to be answering your question about cousin Yuliana.  I was most distressed to be hearing the news about the antics of her husband Otto and I can be understanding as to why she asking of him a divorce.  Del and I would be most happy to let her children visit us this summer while cousin Yuliana does be finalizing the legalties.  Magda and Martine should be being close to our own Oleksandr and Lulzipawp in age.

Our children do be growing like weeds, and thankfully there seems to be little of the sibling rivalry.  Oleksandr and Lulzipawp do always be willing to help out with Kristof and Onastacia.

As teens are apt to be doing, Oleksandr and Lulzipawp have been discovering of the opposite sex. Oleskander has been causing me to be worrying, as he is frequently out at the houses of his friends until all hours of the night, often without adult supervision.  He claims that their antics are the most innocent, merely dancing and such, but I am still concerned that he is up to things which are not proper and upstanding.

Lulzipawp at least brings her gentleman friends to the house, where Del and I are able to properly chaperone her.  I am wondering, however, where she did be learning the topics of many of her conversations.

It would seem I am having more pictures than I do be having time to write Mama.  I will try to jot some notes upon the pictures, however.

Speaking of my dear Sonja..

Before we did know it, her birthday did be coming around.

My Del invited from friends over for a party one evening, to be celebrating Sonja's transition.  Several of the children who did be coming home after school with the rest of my childrens were there as well.

To think, with just an extinguising of candles, my lovely baby girl became...

... a slightly larger lovely baby girl.  Is she not adorable?  She reminds me much of the picture of Grandmama when she too was a child.

Even though I have been home muchly to help my children in their growing years, I have been working hard to be protecting the beautiful marine environment that stetches like a blue carpet just beyond our windows.  Most recently a legislation did come to be voted on that would have disrupted the habitat of the very whales I did work to protect.  I did deeply wish for this to fail, but my hands were tied as to what I could be doing to stop it.  Some more unscrupulous persons in my foundation suggested a quiet bribe in the right hands could be the answer to this issue.

But such actions did go strongly again my morals.  Am I not Joe, the Protector Of Whales? I would be failing in my job if I did stoop to shady means to protect my charges.  Besides, what impact would it be having on my dear Del's political career is news of such bribes did bemade public?  In the end I could but speak to my faithful supporters and hope the gods were listening as well... and it seems they were.  The legislation was defeated and I found myself rewarded for my faithful devotion to the oceans.  My Del and I knew just what to be doing with the extra monies.

While some of the bonus did go to further furnishing our home, some of it was earmarked as tuition for the Baskerville Youth Academy.  With Oleksandr and Lulzipawp now in the Prepatory School, we could not be affording to enroll the younger childrens until I did receive the bonus.  One of the headmasters stopped by late in the evening. I went out to greet him as my Del prepared dinner.

Oleksandr was off with some girl again, so dear Lulzipawp did entertain the headmaster and converse with him over my Del's wonderful dinner.  My Del and I were occupied elsewhere, else we too would have been joining them for dinner.

I did have no worries, however, over whether Lulzipawp would be able to be impressing the headmaster.  She is a very talented young lady and her interests in the arts and music do be quite significant.

And indeed, the good headmaster did be informing my Del and I later that our younger children were eagerly accepted into the Youth Academy.  He did not even ask to be given a tour of our house, explaining that "Obviously any home that had nutured such a refined and talented child as Lulzipawp would easily meet their standards."   I am wondering if my daughter did pull the wool a bit over his eyes as while she indeed does to be talented, I am often wondering about the refined part.

But to end this letter Mama, please do be telling Cousin Yuliana and my Del and I would me most delighted for Magda and Martine to be staying with us this summer

Oleksandr and Lulzipawp have not had a chance to be meeting any of their relatives, as we have not able to be affording to travel back home to be visiting our most extended family.  It will be good for them to be meeting other Shmeaus.

My Del and I are most happy to be opening our home to the children of my cousin.  I am only hoping that when they do be returning in the fall, that Otto and his indiscretions have been handled and cousin Yuliana is free to be devoting herself to her childrens without fretting over her most worthless of husbands.

I must be going Mama.  My Del needs to be speaking to me on a most important matter.  No doubt it is to be dealing with the preparations we must be making in order to be preparing for Magda and Martine's arrival.  Please to be giving my love to the family and pass on my gradulations to my brother and his wife on their newest child.

Love

Joe
