We just spent Thanksgving and Kate's 30th Birthday(11/30) with Kate's parents (Nana and Papa). Kate took charge of the fest this year cooking the WHOLE thing all on her own. A feat nearly unbelievable coming from a woman that has messed up Hamburger Helper...twice.

Latest News...

Aaron - Was recently nominated for Employee of the Year at his company, Expeditors in Bensenville. He's 1 of about a dozen other nominees and the winner will be announced at the company Christmas party on December 6.

Kate - is still living her BUSY life working full time, managing her Mary Kay business, and of course being a Mom! As if all that isn't enough, she's started fulfilling some pre-reqresit courses she needs for credit to begin her Masters in Teaching program in Sept. 2009. The semester she's taking Geography 101 and so far pulling a 96% with just 1 final exam left. Next semester she'll be tackling Political Science 100 and College Algebra.

Daniel - is 5 years old and in Kindergarden at Minee Subee. He loves to sing and dance and make friends. But more than anything, he is also loves being a big brother! He can't start or end his day without saying hello or good night to "his AJ" with kisses and hugs all around. If AJ gets upset, Dan is right there to reassure him and calm his fears. "It's okay, Buddy." Both boys recently displayed their performing genes for their mom at the annual Thankgiving Feast.

AJ - is now a 2 year old in the "Two's" Room at Minee Subee and being taught by his favorite teacher, Miss Becky (who also taught Dan when he was the same age). He also performed in his very first Thanksgiving Feast Show in November. He still loves doing whatever his big brother is doing. (Or has what he has.) His language skils grow more and more every day and he's even stringing together short sentences to tell us what's going on: "Mommy. No. Dan. Head. Bang. Owie." Which means "Mommy, you told Dan No cause he'll fall and hit his head and it'll hurt." And he elaborates his point with hand motions that include bumping the side of his head and twisting up his face to show dislike for pain. He's very different from his brother and we enjoy them both so much for all their unique characteristics.
