2) Feeder - Just A Day (cos it's a really happy song and it wakes you up really well in the morning)

3) Muse - Plug In Baby (another one that's great for waking you up plus it has amazing guitar solos and Matt Bellamy is amazing himself)

4) Nirvana - All Apologies (A classic from Kurt, Krist and Dave - it's been 10 years - need I say more)

5) HIM - Solitary Man (the new release from Ville and the boys' new album "And Love Said No" - very catchy chorus - see "HIM lyrics" page)

6) Lostprophets - We Are Godzilla, You Are Japan (From the brilliant new album "Start Something" v. shouty and angry!)

7) Placebo -Nancy Boy (A classic and some of the best lyrics in existence - see my Placebo page for proof)

8) The Distillers - Die On A Rope (Really catchy - from new album Coral Fang - Brody and the gang are amazing live, take it from Kes)

9) System Of A Down - Chop Suey (Love this song! Wake up......grab a brush put on a little make up...etc - brilliant song from a band with some erm interesting members)
