Kerauffret is the perfect base for your family holiday in Brittany, France.
Our peaceful hamlet consists of 5 residences within the commune of Senven Lehart.
Our stone cottage is a perfectly restored with as many original rustic features as possible left in place, oak beams, cobble entrance etc, it has 70sq. metres of space over 2 floors. The master bedroom is 4x5 metres with ample space for a cot or put-u-up should it be required with roof windows to the front and rear. Bedroom 2 is a twin room with roof window to the front. The shower room boasts a multi jet shower, WC and washbasin and roof window to the rear. A small landing offers another roof window overlooking the rear view. There is a radiator on the landing if you should need it on chilly nights. All in all it is a very light and airy 1st floor.
The stairs lead you down into the kitchen and living area of 35sq. metres, the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of storage within country style units, there is a gas cooker, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, coffe machine and a washing machine
The living area is very spacious consisting of a traditional leather and oak suite which doubles as a sofa bed, satalite link for UK television, DVD player, and a WiFi broadband connection. There is a dining table and chairs, large tiled fireplace with oak beamed canopy over a wood burning stove sat on a huge original granite hearth. There is a large window and barn style front door allowing the light and sunshine to flood in, and a further radiator for background heat at the chillier times of year!
The front of the cottage has a decked area for breakfasting in the morning sun, or an evening bar-b-que. A large gravelled parking area and a small planted rockery area.
At the rear of the property is 3/4 acre grassed garden for the children to let off steam, 3.5m x 1.2 m swimming pool, swings, football goal, and 5 metre trampoline......oh, and our family of 5 goats who are more than happy to accept your old stale bread!
We like to think that we have found the right balance between the cottage being comfortable and homely, whilst renovated and finished to a very high standard. We feel it's the little things that matter, the decorating is kept up to date, sometimes touched up between arrivals, but we want you to feel at home, somewhere you can chill out, enjoy the tranquility of the hamlet, have a goof full day out then return, kick off your shoes and relex!
We are only 50 metres away should you need us, but we respect our visitors privacy, we cannot see the cottage from our house and we are not visable from the cottage, but should you need us for any reason even just for information, we are happy to help.
Awaiting all our guests is a welcome pack containing various goodies and of course....a bottle of wine!
We supply all bedding, but we do ask that you bring your own towels and babys' duvet where applicable.
The cottage is kept stocked with washing up liquid/cleaning products and tiolet rolls, all we ask is that visitors replace them as necessary.

ALTERNATIVE HOLIDAY COTTAGE
There is a second holiday cottage within the hamlet of Kerauffret which we take care of which may be available for the dates you require if we are already booked.
It has 2 double bedrooms with ample space for a put-u-up/cot in both, a shower room/ WC upstairs. On the ground floor there is a lounge with a sofa bed, fitted kitchen, dining room and bathroom/ WC. It has outside space at the rear which has not as yet been landscaped, but at the front there is a gravelled area ideal for lounging and a having a bar-b-que.
