Ken Yu Kan Re-Opens at New Location
Following the devastating earthquake of December 22nd, 2003, the Ken Yu Kan dojo was forced to relocate. This was a very difficult undertaking, as we had enjoyed the use of the old brick Printery Building for 31 years. Our new facility is located at 6905 El Camino Real #4 in Century Plaza, near Armando's Restaurant. Just look for the Ken Yu Kan logo with the Shotokan tiger. The new dojo is beautiful. One step into the building and you will experience the feel of a real, authentic Japanese dojo, specifically designed for real Karate training. It is clean, modern, and safe and features the finest martial arts flooring system available in the world. This synthetic tatami system provides superior footing that is clean, comfortable, and safe. Please come by and visit our new dojo soon and we will be more than happy to give you a tour!.

Founded by Sensei Richard Gracie in 1973, Ken Yu Kan Karate School's instructors headed by Sensei Michael Croft and Darin Sanders, have dedicated themselves to providing instruction of AUTHENTIC Japanese Karate in the Atascadero & Paso Robles area.
