Due to a forecast of rain most of the day Saturday, September 26th, 2009

The Mall is located on US 60 off of the Cannonsburg exit towards Ashland, it will be about 2 miles on the right.

From Ashland take US 60 to Cannonsburg, it will be on the right about 5 miles from the city limits.

It is Saturday Sept. 26, 2009 at Central Park in Ashland,KY.  Register 9a.m. -
 11:30.  Entry is $15 for 10 pieces.  Additional pieces $5 each.  Bring
 easels.  Must be framed and wired.Categories in photography are film
 and digital-all subject,  computer enhanced-all subject and special
 category " scenes of Yesteryear" Each category gets 1,2,3, and
 honorable mention ribbons.  All 1st place winners get $25.00. One Best
 of Show  from everything there gets $50.00 and a ribbon.  There will be
 purchase awards and door prizes.  If it rains the show will be held at
 KYOVA Mall, US 60 East.  I think scenes of yesteryear would be pictures
 taken now but shows how life used to be.  Like feeding chickens,
 fishing, gardening, playing marbles, making a quilt etc.  If anybody

All 2-dimensional entries must be matted and/or framed (gallery wrapped canvases excepted) and ready to hang. All exhibitors are to provide supports/easels for their work. Please leave art work displayed until all of the awards have been given.

If you need help or information while at this year’s Art in the Park, just look for someone wearing a red shirt .The members of the Kentucky Creative Arts Club will be happy to help you in any way they can. We hope to facilitate this process by making ourselves easily recognizable in these shirts.

Bring your lawn chairs and plan to spend the day enjoying some art, some friendly conversation, and (we hope) beautiful weather.
