Coach Billy Clyde has done it again!CBC has landed another 5 star recruit in DeAndre Liggins the 18th ranked player in the 08 class.It seems that CBC recruting is paying off in a big way.UK seems to be getting early comitments from players from 08 to 2010.All this excitment in one week ,is alot to cheer about for the Big Blue Nation.Last week 2010 prospect Dakotah Euton commited to UK and now another CBC recruit jumps on the UK swagger train before all the seats are filled up.

Dakotah Euton the 6'8 star from Ashland KY commited to the Kentucky Wildcats basketball program for the class of 2010.Dakotah was in Lexington for the Ellite camp and all sourses pointed at Dakotah to UK.This could be one of the best players to come out of the state of KY since Chris Lofton.Except this time we got the catch.The kid is only a sophmore so I expect him to grow a couple more inches over the next few years.1570 the zone had Euton live on their show today and he said that Olek Czyz was the best player at the UK Elite camp.He also said that Olek Czyz had UK at the top of his schools.Dakotah Euton commiting early could help out with recruiting showing other top players that the program here at UK is running at full steam.And players need to get on while they can.This is a great pick up for the cats even though we still have a long time before he even steps into rupp wearing UK BLUE!

The big news this weekend was the UK Elite Camp.Many great high school basketball players came into Rupp for coach Billy Clyde's first camp.Players like Bud Mackey, Jacob Jenkins, Verdell Jones, Demarcus Cousins, GJ Villarino, Courtney Fortson, Dakota Euton and Olek Czyz. Dakotah Euton,a UK recruit had a sub par weekend sources say. UK commitment GJ Vilarino put on a show, especially on Saturday.said to have acquitted himself well in matchups, including those against Fortson whohad the best overall weekend at the camp sources say.Unless you count Patrick (beans) Patterson and Alex Legion who had there first big show in the bluegrass as wildcats.

Darius Miller the senior out of Mason co high school has narrowed his college schools down to four reports say.Illinois, Kentucky,Florida and Tennessee all made the cut.Kentucky is in the lead many sourses that are close to Miller say.I would like to see Miller on the UK roster next year but I think under Billy Gillispie it's a first come first serve.It would be nice to see a player as talented as Miller to bring his in state swagger intoRupp.

Coach Billy Gillispie 2007 elite camp starts this weekend.With as many as 75 to 90 high school players coming in from arcross the nation it will be a camp to remember.This is CBC first elite camp and I say it will be great for recruitng .This allows some of the top high school players come in to UK and see our facitlies.The biggest local name on the list is Scott co Bud Mackey.Tyler Zeller and Euton are reported to be at the camp also.UK is high on Euton who worked out earlier this year at the new Joe Craft Center.Sources around Euton point out that UK is at the top of the list and could possibly commit this weekend.
