The Kentigern Arms, a 17th Century Coaching Inn, is located half way up the High Street in St. Asaph. Well known in the area for a warm welcome, the pub is family run and caters for all kinds of occasions.
There is a games room including pool, table football and darts, regular games of dominoes are played and Sky TV provides access to most of the main football and rugby matches.
The Landlord is well known in the area for being a fan of the actor John Wayne, and the lounge contains many pictures and memorabilia of the famous cowboy.
The pub, as well as being a meeting place for locals has attracted several notable visitors including Brian McFadden and the famous poet Dylan Thomas who is said to have stayed in the building in the 1950s. Over the last couple of years, Brian "Licorice" Locking from The Shadows has performed on several occasions.
