CHI!
Chobits is an excellent anime by CLAMP. It's about the perverted farm boy Mototsua Hideki who moves to the city to attend cram school. He's broke. He definitly doesn't have the money to buy one of those human shaped computers called persacoms. Hideki is hopless. Then one day things start to look up when he finds a persacome lying in the trash. She is a lovely persacom with white hair and amber eyes. Their meeting begins a stange string of events as wells as some halaroius antics. The adult theme of this anime sets it apart from other CLAMP productions. Learn more about it below
After Hideki finds this beautiful persacom in the trash he takes her back to his small apartment. He lookes everywhere for her "on" switch. The only place he didn't try was right between her legs. Hideki slowly reaches down there. Suddenly the persacom comes to life. "Chi" she says. Hideki digs through his pile of porno mags to get his comp manual. He takes a cord out of the persacoms ear and plugs it into the T.V. "No Data" the screen says. The girl persacom seems to only be able to say one thing "Chi" So, Hideki appropriatly names her Chi. Hideki shows Chi to his neighbor Shinbo. Shinbo is pretty good with persacoms and owns a little laptop named Tsumomo. (plum) He is confused though. Chi shouldn't be able to move without an OS yet she walks and even can say something. Shinbo hooks Tsumomo up to Chi and tries to find her manufacturer. However, all this does is make Tsumomo crash! Shinbo , in between tears, tells Hideki that chi has a CPU that's off the charts and that she is a custom model. He then sends Hideki to a computer genius named Minoru Kokubunji.
To Hideki's surprize Minoru is a kid! He too tries to hook his persacoms up to Chi but each of them crashes. Then in walks a lovely persacom indeed who Hideki mistakes for a real person. Her name is Yuzuki, and she is a persacom designed by Minoru to be exactly like his sister who resenctly passed away. Minoru explains that Chi's data is highly encripted and protected by many firewalls not even Yuzuki would be able to break through. Kokubunji also believes that Chi could be a Chobit. Chobits are an urban legend about super powerwul computers. They are the ultimate artificial intelligence for they are able to think and act on their own and do not rely on outside programming. It becomes apparent that Chi is installed with a self-teaching program. minoru explains that Hideki will have to be chi's teacher and then he warns Hideki that he should never fall in love with Chi beacause she'll only break his heart.
Hideki is so broke he can't even afford clothes for Chi. So she's walking around town in Hideki's clothes with her boobs hanging out. Luckily Hideki's landlord, Miss Hibiya, gave Chi some of her hand me down outfits for her to wear. Miss Hibiya gives Chi lots of new clothes in the series and as time goes by it becomes apparent that Miss Hibiya knows something about Chi and her data.
Hideki does have a real girl he likes. Her name is Yumi and she is his bosses daughter. His boss is as much as a perv as Hideki but Yuki appears nice. She obviously likes Hideki. However, Hideki can't spend all of his time going on dates with pretty girls. He has to study, and pay the bills, and take care of Chi. Hideki does have some spare cash but only enough to buy Chi a book called "the city with no people" that she has been admiring. This book seems to be the Chobit story written in a childlike form. CouldsChi really be a Chobit? Or is it just an urban legend?
Hideki's teacher, Miss Shimizu, is also very attractive. Especially when she comes up, out of the blue and asks if she can spend the night of at Hideki's appartment! Miss Shimizu is a married woman but obviously her marriage is failing. Nothing happens between Miss Shimizu and Hideki but she and Shinbo get together! yes, strangly enough, miss Shimizu has a thing for Shinbo....
The first major sign that Chi could very likely be a Chobit occurs when Hideki tells her that he's so broke he can't afford to eat or pay rent. So, Chi decides to get a job. Unfortunatly Hideki hasn't taught Chi anythong about good judgment and what people not to trust. Her innosence causes her to fall into a bad situation. As she's looking for a job she stumbles upon a man who says he's never seen a cuter persacom and that he has the perfect job for her. What Chi doesn't know is that she was just signed up for a peep show and that she's the star attraction. Hideki is frantically looking for Chi when he hears from Kokubunji that Chi is in a peep show. Total meltdwn for Hideki. Then the man at the peep show makes a big mistake. He tries to touch Chi inbetween her legs. Chi's defence program goes up and she flies away. All the persacoms in the area just shut down completly. Finally Hideki finds Chi and takes her home. Sudenly all the persacoms reboot and are allright again. Could Chi really be a Chobit?

Motosua Hideki- He just moved in from the countryside into the big city. He hasn't been able to get into college and his parents cut his allowence. He lives in a one room apartment. Things were looking grim until he stumbled upon Chi. eye color-brown; hair color-black; age 18.
Chi-Persacom with highly encrypted data. She could be an AI called chobit. She lives with Motosua Hideki her friend and teacher. She's very cute and innocent. eye color -amber; hair color-white; age- unkown; CPU-unkown; RAM-unkown
Shinbo Hiromu- Hideki's best friend who lives down the hall. He's good with computers and his laptop persacom plum is absolutely adorable. He helps Hideki out with his problems alot. He is also dating Miss Shimizu. Eye color-black; hair color-black; age-18 or 19.
Tsumomo (plum) - Shinbo's cute laptop who often aids Hideki and Chi. she was crashed when Shinbo used her to find Chi information which they never got.
Tokako Shimizu- Hideki's sexy cram school teacher. She's married but it appears there are some serious problems in that area. She seems attracted to both Hideki and Shinbo. eye color-brown; hair color-black; age-mid to late 20's
Hibiya Chitose- Hideki's lovely landlord. She is always giving Chi new clothes and even offers to take care of her while Hideki is out sometimes. She know something about Chi that Hideki doesn't. She knows who created her and weither or not she is a chobit eye color-black; hair color-black; age-mid 20's
Yumi-A high school student who hangs around with Hideki, her senpai. Despite how cute she is she seems only interested in Hideki. She hates persacoms because she believes real girls can never compare to them and she fears Hideki may become obsessed with Chi. She's very kind, always making Hideki lunch and inviting him to all sorts of things. eye color-brown; hair color-black; age-16 or 17
Kokubunji Minoru- Jr high computer genius. He builds his own persacoms and seems intrigued by Chi. He believes that she could be a Chobit. His persacom Yuzuki was made to be exactly like his elder sister in everyway. She even has his sister's personality. She was so real Minoru fell in love with her. He speaks from personal experience when he tells Hiddeki not to fall for Chi's cuteness. eye color-black; hair color-black; age 12 or 13
